Jacqueline Blake Talks Joining The Cast Of The Real Housewives Of Potomac

I had the opportunity to attend a private viewing party hosted by Jacqueline Blake while Season 7 of The Real Housewives of Potomac was airing, and this newbie had a lot to say about what happened this season, and where her friendships stand today.

She opened up about joining the show as a friend-of through full-time Housewife Mia Thornton, and says “I would say that season 7 had its ups and downs, everybody brought it, and it was a true testimony of who had my corner and who did not.” I obviously wanted to know more and I asked who exactly she was talking about that didn’t have her back. Blake said “I think everybody knows that Mia is not in my corner right now.” This comes after Blake and Thornton went blow for blow on Instagram which led fans know the two “best friends ”were officially done for. Blake wrote on her Instagram “this season was a eyeopener and true testimony of who had my best interest at heart.” she continued “through every step of this process i prayed for God to use me and allow me to use this platform to uplift, help, and empower.”

Thornton did not like what she was seeing and decided to comment back “She loves men with wives, while trying too hard to be a ‘Housewife’ yet is only qualified to be a ‘friend’, if she would focus on herself maybe someone would want to wife her wanna be disloyal a[ss].”

As season 7 of RHOP continues to air at its very early stages, the “best friend” due is still going strong, however after this social media dispute and the constant back and forth in the press, fans are in for even more drama as the season progresses.

EXCLUSIVE: RHONJ’s Jennifer Aydin Dishes On The New Season & Why Bill Won’t Be Watching This Season Plus Where She Stands With Her Castmates

While appearing on Flipping The Table with Jack Sitt Real Housewives of New Jersey star Jennifer Aydin dishes on the new season and how it has affected her family and her relationships with her castmates.

The reality star talked about being surprised at how much her castmate Jackie Goldschneider had her back through this ordeal. “I wasn’t sure where she was coming from when she reminded me that it wasn’t something she could relate to but now I’m watching it back and I’m like wow she really did have my back and that is very big of her” Jennifer recalled. Jennifer made it clear that she wasn’t a fan of the first several episodes of RHONJ because it seemed to be from Margaret’s point of view but she’s hopeful that fans will soon get to see more of her spin on things in the upcoming episodes.

Jennifer Aydin and Dolores Catania

Jennifer didn’t hold back when discussing the awkward distance between her and castmate Dolores Catania. She’s now using the advice that her once friend Dolores gave her which is “when someone shows you who they are, believe them” and Jennifer says that’s exactly what she’s doing when it comes to her relationship with Dolores. She doesn’t feel Dolores has been there for her and Jennifer is putting some space between the two. Jennifer affirmed what many already guessed which is she’s closest to Teresa Giudice but in a new development she’s made amends with the Gorgas.

Jennifer Aydin and Husband Bill Aydin

When asked if her kids watch the show, Jennifer stated that the only person in her household that watches the episodes with her is her daughter Gabby. Jennifer quickly admitted, “Bill is not watching this season, it’s just easier for him to cope. Ultimately, he’s thinking that this was his shame, his infidelity and he’s like of course it’s easy for you to talk about it because you didn’t do it.” The reality star credits self-reflection as the thing that has helped her grow over the past seasons. “My first season I would watch it and I was thinking that everyone is going to love me. I’m like I’m a good time, I tell it how it is and then when I saw the first season and I was talking about my bathrooms and about my house and realized how I sound. I was like that’s mortifying and terrible! So, I am more conscious of the things that I say now.”

The reality star also stated that she would love to explore writing books in the future which could include mom self-help books and a novel based loosely on her actual life! Fun fact when asked if she could switch to another franchise, Jennifer excitedly responded, “I’m loving Salt Lake City! Every single person on that cast is just dynamic and they have personality. One day Whitney’s my favorite then one day Heather’s my favorite, even Mary’s been my favorite and I’m like we need this coco for cocoa puffs woman on the show! Bring her back!”

‘RHOSLC’ Star Jennie Nguyen Faces Backlash For Racist Posts

Fans are calling for Jennie Nguyen to be fired from “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” after several controversial social media posts appearing to promote “White Lives Matter” from 2020 resurfaced this week.

Over a six month span in 2020 amid the ongoing Black Lives Matter protests, Nguyen allegedly posted and reposted memes and photos, including ones which mention phrases like “BLM Thugs” and “Violent Gangs.”

Below you can see some of the posts that surfaced from Jennie’s Facebook account:

Nguyen shared various graphics, such as this one.

Fans have been calling on Bravo to fire Nguyen.

Nguyen’s shared these posts from June through December 2020.

One post, allegedly shared by the 44-year-old “Housewife” in September 2020, reads, “I’m sick of people saying cops need more training. You had 18 years to teach your kids it’s wrong to loot, steal, set buildings a blaze, block traffic, laser people’s eyes, overturn cars, destroy buildings and attack citizens. Who failed who?”

Nguyen’s alleged resurfaced posts follow her previously calling out her co-star Mary M. Cosby for being racist. During a recent episode, Cosby told Nguyen that she has “nice slanted eyes.” She went on to confront Cosby, and while many of the ladies had her back, Cosby didn’t step down and their feud has since escalated.

Cosby has since doubled down that her comment was a sincere compliment and said she will “never” apologize to Nguyen.

Bravo nor the other Housewives have commented on Jennie’s comments, however, co-star Meredith Marks posted a very cryptic message on Twitter indirectly addressing the situation.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
