Milania Giudice is receiving professional care following a concerning incident at Tampa International Airport, marking the latest development in what her family describes as an exceptionally difficult period for the 20-year-old.
The daughter of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” stars Teresa and Joe Giudice is currently “under the care of professionals,” according to her manager and longtime family friend, Maria DeSantis.
“Milania is deeply loved by her family and friends, and all of us are doing everything we can to support her as she navigates an incredibly difficult time in her life, particularly following the devastating loss of her best friend, Victoria,” DeSantis told Page Six.
According to the statement, Milania is surrounded by loved ones while professionals work with both her and her family.
The family says its immediate focus is on Milania’s health, healing and well-being and has asked the public for compassion and privacy.
What Happened At Tampa International Airport?
Questions about Milania’s well-being intensified after she posted — and subsequently deleted — a video showing a heated interaction between herself, Teresa and her older sister Gia Giudice at Tampa International Airport.
In the video, several police officers could be seen nearby as Milania repeatedly questioned her family about what was happening. Teresa could be heard telling her daughter that she loved her, while Gia appeared to encourage her mother to give Milania space.
Additional information subsequently emerged about what reportedly preceded the video.
According to a police dispatch log obtained by TMZ, officers received a call for assistance at approximately 2:20 p.m. on September 23. The call was classified as an “Assist Person” at the United Airlines ticket counter.
The dispatch information stated that authorities had been told Milania was experiencing “suicidal thoughts” and a “mental breakdown” and had recently been released from St. Anthony’s Hospital.
The log also referenced a possible Baker Act situation. Florida’s Baker Act provides a legal process under which a person meeting certain criteria can be taken for an involuntary mental-health examination.
Dispatch information also indicated that Milania had become separated from a counselor who was traveling with her and her family and at one point was moving through the terminal toward the parking area.
Police eventually located her.
Despite the police response, a Tampa International Airport spokesperson told TMZ that Milania was not arrested, was not medically transported from the airport and that police did not generate an incident report.

Milania’s father, Joe Giudice, has now addressed the situation publicly and is asking people to consider what his daughter has been experiencing away from social media.
