Garcelle Says Erika Jayne Is The Most Scandalous Woman In America Today, S12E12 Recap

Trigger warning: Food sensitive content.

Previously on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills…Erika did it again. First she attacked Garcelle’s family and then she attacked Crystal. At Diana’s Christmas party Erika was inquiring a lot about Crystal’s eating disorder. Crystal shared with Erika and Garcelle that sometimes she feels bad after eating to which Erika responds, “Well I always think take laxatives and get rid of it.”

Diana’s Husband, Asher, sings for the group and a drunk Erika couldn’t resist seeking attention. “I think Erika probably misses the spotlight.” Garcelle continues, “She won’t shut up, it’s awkward.”

Kathy walks outside and has the most awkward conversation with Erika. “Kathy I want to say something and I want to get it off my chest. You invited me to a lot of events and the truth is I didn’t want to bring my scorn and my fucking scarlet letter onto your daughters and onto you.” Kathy is so confused at this moment. She walks back inside to tell the ladies that Erika is getting out of control. Kathy says, “You don’t ever want to put yourself in a position of drinking and then losing control and doing something stupid.”

Kyle defends Erika’s behavior and suggests the group cut her some slack because at least she is “loosening up”. Garcelle makes it clear she’s not cutting anyone slack. Kyle is sensitive to labeling anyone an alcoholic after her sister, Kim Richards, battled for her sobriety on the show. Kyle claims Garcelle is baiting her into defining Erika’s behavior as a problem, but Kyle won’t do it.

Erika credits Lisa and her daughters for supporting her through the last year. Erika claims that Lisa’s daughter, Amelia, inspired her to take care of her mental health. “I’m on Lexapro, guess what, now I’m on wellbutrin. And I’m on other things and yes I ‘ve had a few drinks but the truth is I’m okay.”

Garcelle goes over to Erika and Lisa to say goodbye, and Diana uses the moment to apologize for her behavior at Garcelle’s party. “My behavior at your party was inappropriate, it really was.” Diana continues, “Sutton said a few things, she literally pressed every button there was to press.” Diana admits she lashed out at Garcelle. “I do apologize. I see it in your eyes that you like me.” Garcelle accepted her apology.

PK was recently arrested on suspicion of DUI. According to Dorit, “PK went to a work dinner. He was driving home after having a glass of wine, got pulled over and brought to the station.” Dorit found out the day after. According to PK, he blew a 0.81, where the legal limit is allegedly 0.8. “There’s one thing and one thing only that is extremely important to me, as you know, in our marriage. We do not lie to one another. Period.” Dorit continues, “Not a little lie, not a big lie, not a white lie.” PK admits that the only reason he told her was because he needed Dorit to pick up her car.

Lisa pays Erika a visit to discuss the holiday party at Diana’s, but more importantly Erika’s drinking. Lisa lets her know she was slurring her words and out of control. Erika claims that when she got home she blacked out and hit her head. Lisa says, “Mikey is family to Erika and I’m probably the closest to Erika, so Erika’s in a place where she needs to hear what the two of us have to say, period, end of story.”

Lisa attributes the drinking to the trauma Erika has gone through with her husband’s criminal issues. She believes Erika has turned to alcohol because she’s in a lot of pain. Lisa’s sister died of a drug overdose, so she understands why someone may want to numb themselves. Erika admits, “I pushed it too far. I did the wrong thing.” She thanks Lisa for being a real friend.

Covid has changed the way the ladies celebrate the holidays, from large gatherings to intimate ones. I guess you could say Sutton’s was the most intimate, as she spent it alone, while her children traveled to Italy with their father and his new girlfriend. Sutton tested positive right before the holidays so she woke up Christmas morning probably feeling like scrooge. She was so lonely she admitted that she called almost every ex-boyfriend she ever had.

Sutton’s dating qualifications are as follows: someone tall, who has a job and is educated. Deal-breakers would be: an affection towards hoodies, ponytail, a white unmarked van.

Garcelle and Erika meet up for drinks at a rooftop. Immediately Erika tries to play nice by ordering a chamomile tea. She wanted to be on her best behavior with Garcelle, but the server told her that hot drinks are served on the roof, so Erika did what any sensible person would do, change to cognac. Garcelle suggests a Shirley temple.

Erika confesses that the last couple of times they’d seen each other she was blacked out. When Garcelle asked why Erika responded, “Medicine, and thinking I could drink on it.” Erika couldn’t wait to tell Garcelle that her friend Lisa came to the house to let her have it. That moment was so rehearsed.

By doing so I think Erika believed the ladies (Garcelle) would back off if the most Loyal person to Erika, also took issue with her drinking. “I think the first is recognizing that you have a problem, and I think she’s doing that, so I believe her and I’m glad to see that she is owning it and hopefully she will,” says Garcelle.

Erika comes out of left field to say that Sheree is better to have in her corner than Sutton because Sutton is a “liability.” Garcelle doesn’t understand why everyone comes down on her so hard. Erika claimed Sutton is “unpredictable”; strangely Erika and Sutton have been getting along well for all of a sudden Erika to say this. Garcelle says, “The bottom line is Erika is a liability walking around every day. Is there a more scandalous woman in America today than Erika Jayne?”

Garcelle Checks Erika, Diana Agrees That She’s “Fake”

The time has finally come for Garcelle to “set a bitch straight”! The ladies are at Sutton’s housewarming luncheon, and after making Erika sweat a bit, Garcelle is ready to confront her for disrespecting her 14 year old son. Last week Erika shared that she can only have one drink. She is definitely filling up on the booze and Garcelle has been very observant. “You know it’s not that I’m paying all my attention to Erika at all, but she said she was only going to have one drink. We’re up to three.”

Garcelle lets Erika know that her liquor level was out of control at the party, which resulted in an uncomfortable situation for Garcelle’s teenage son. “Under no circumstances though can you disrespect, not only a kid, but my kid.” To everyone’s surprise Erika owned it, and apologized, and it actually sounded sincere. Erika says, “I agree and take full responsibility and you know what, I was shit talking and treating the kids like they were adults, and I was wrong.”

For all the housewives reading this, that is how you do it. Erika is far from a class act, but for someone who has created a brand based on not being ashamed and embarrassed for being who they are (Erika Jayne), we see that in fact Erika was ashamed and embarrassed for her actions that night.

Based on Kyle’s facial expression, she seems confused, and in a matter of seconds Garcelle calls Kyle out.

Garcelle: “What are you doing that for, why’d you do that face?”

Kyle: “For as long as I’ve known Erika I’ve never seen her lose her composure one time, so I think she’s allowed a little bump here.”

Garcelle: “This is what I mean by jumping ship Kyle, this is what I mean by jumping ship, I’m having a conversation with her, and it’s not like I’m saying anything badly.”

Kyle: “She’s literally had, in seven years, two instances—”

Garcelle: “But I’m not talking to you, I’m talking to her.”

In her confessional Kyle says “Was it wrong for Erika to tell Garcelle’s son to fuck off—100 percent, but am I happy that she’s let her hair down and is having some fun and not so guarded as she used to be, absolutely. Does that mean I’ve jumped ship? No I haven’t.”

Friend of the show (and to Garcelle) Sheree tries to help Kyle understand that right now she just needs to be neutral. Erika interjects to say “Before I insulted your children I actually paid them a huge compliment in saying that your younger boys were so well spoken and were not acting like teenagers that wanted to be on their phone and not talking to other guests, and I thought to myself that’s a real testament to Garcelle.”

“It’s great if a stranger comes up to you and says I think you’re a really good mom, when it comes from another mom that knows what it’s like to do it alone, that to me is the best compliment I could ever have.” Garcelle continues, “Am I annoyed with Erika? Absolutely, has she scored a point—*sighs* yeah.”

Sheree breaks the ice by asking Erika if she was trying to have a threesome with Garcelle’s older son Oliver, to which Erika admits. “I would.” Sheree responds, “Me too, bitch.”

Sheree, Garcelle, and Kyle meet for drinks and they get right to it. They discuss the 1-on-1 between Garcelle and Erika. Garcelle understands Erika has been through a lot. She explains that it was never about her not having fun. “We’re not just talking about ‘oh my gosh she’s a little tipsy lets just put her in an uber,’ I mean what more do you want to see?” It sounds like Garcelle is implying that things will only get worse from here.

Kyle is happy to see a more vulnerable side to Erika. Garcelle poses the question, “And you don’t think that could lead to alcoholism?” Immediately you can see how triggered Kyle is by that accusation, considering her tumultuous past with her sister. (Kim Richards). Kyle responds, “I think that’s a very dramatic statement.” In Garcelle’s defense, she might also be triggered given her son’s addiction issues.

At Garcelle’s birthday Sutton tried to relate to Diana by telling her about her experience losing two babies, but Diana felt it wasn’t genuine. After hearing that Diana didn’t necessarily leave off on the same page as her, Sutton sat down to meet Diana for round two.

The first time Diana and Sutton met, in a group, Diana said she believed Sutton is clumsy with her words. Diana now clarifies, “I actually have changed my mind. I don’t think you’re clumsy with words. I actually think you mean what you say.” Sutton looked dumbfounded.

Diana says, “Do you know how you said it?” Sutton responds by telling her that it was very sincere. “I don’t share my stories of my miscarriages with many people,” says Sutton. Diana even feels bold enough to tell Sutton that her exact words were “I’ll raise you two” in response to Diana having a one miscarriage. If you watched the scene, you know that wasn’t what Sutton actually said, and it’s wild that this is the hill Diana is willing to die on.

This entire scene with Diana and Sutton was pure insanity and the gaslighting at its finest. Diana admits that the hug at Garcelle’s birthday was “the fakest hug I’ve ever had in my life.” Sutton asks, “So who’s fake now?” Diana responds “I am”, and in that moment Sutton had never looked more confused. Sutton says she would rather deal with Erika over Diana any day. If Diana is looking to be a one season housewife, she’s doing a great job.

Stay tuned as next week Kathy Hilton makes her season 12 debut.

Dorinda’s Making Amends; Brandi and Tamra Connect over Denise Scandal

The Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip kicked off its sixth episode on Peacock. This episode began with all the ladies waking up and dealing with the aftermath of the previous night’s events. Dorinda and Jill made amends and got to a point of understanding where the other was coming from in terms of how their supposed friendship has been and how they would like for it to be moving forward. However, Brandi wakes still pretty upset with the comment Dorinda made regarding her son. Brandi says, “Dorinda is a sloppy drunk and she went after me when I walked away two times! We’re not going to get up today and brush this off. We’re going to have a f**king conversation cause normally I can let s**t go but don’t talk about my kids.”

As the ladies begin to file in for breakfast, Tamra, Vicki, and Brandi talk about how Dorinda has been saying mean things to each of them and they feel like they can’t reason with her. Tamra says, “I just feel that Dorinda says s**t and then apologizes, and she thinks it’s all better. You can’t just put a band aid on it and be like “oh I was drunk, I was stupid, sorry” it doesn’t like that.” Dorinda enters the room where the ladies are having breakfast and immediately goes to apologize to Brandi. She tells Brandi, “I’m apologizing. I used the wrong reference. I should’ve said imagine if someone in your life died but I was wrong and I apologize for that.” Brandi responds, “Why are you so mad? It’s happening everyday with one of us. Dorinda says, “I think what happened with Jill was very different and we talked it through and we’re good. Last night I definitely drink too much.” Tamra recommends they all drink less, but Jill and Brandi remind everyone that they are all going to wine tasting later. In her confessional, Dorinda admits with tears in her eyes that she really screwed up but that she did try hard to make it nice.

As Dorinda leaves the breakfast table, Eva and Phaedra join the remaining ladies for breakfast. Phaedra says in her confessional, “I’m hoping everybody can let the new day be new and not continue to rehash things from a decade ago, a day ago. It’s too many bitter Bettys holding on to yesteryear. Get over it. Change your panties.” Back in their bedroom, Tamra and Vicki vent to each other about not being able to speak their mind to Dorinda. Tamra starts to cry out of nowhere and Vicki begins to babble on about “we’re all going to die one day” as Phaedra and Brandi enter their bedroom. In her confessional, Tamra says, “No one talks about death as much as Vicki. She’s a Debbie Downer.” Vicki tells the ladies to let everyone know that if she died right now that she died sad. The other ladies laugh off Vicki being dramatic. Jill goes to Taylor’s room to talk about why she decided to bring up a decade old feud that really didn’t have anything to do with her. In the same sequence, Brandi, Phaedra, Tamra, and Vicki are discussing the Taylor argument as well. Brandi says, “She went in. And I was like what? I thought we were fine. I regret going low. I do. I was just caught off guard.” Vicki admits that Taylor’s behavior was weird. Back to Jill and Taylor. Jill says she respects Brandi getting up to walk away and Taylor agrees and says, “Yes, I agree with that. I obviously have unresolved issues with her and it’s something that I’m just going to have to swallow.”

As the ladies break off to do their own things, Phaedra and Tamra go on a walk to get to know each other more. Tamra asks Phaedra to tell her more about her new man. Phaedra says that the man she’s been dating is “a physician that’s really good with kids” and that she’s really enjoying his company. When the topic of divorce comes up Phaedra says that she’s been divorced twice from the same person. Phaedra says, “Our divorce was final, he appealed it and they granted the appeal” Phaedra admits she’s not sure if she wants to get into another marriage. She said, “I don’t know if I want to get into a martial situation. Let’s have some fun and then you go home and pee on your own toilet. I like my bidet crystal clean and fresh.”

The ladies head off to go to wine tasting! Before the ladies begin drinking, Phaedra decides to lead an emotional group prayer in hopes of the ladies having a fresh start to their day and being kind to one another. Dorinda says in her confessional, “Phaedra, a blessing. It couldn’t have come at a better time. It kind of just settled me down a little bit. So, I’m thankful for that.” After a few drinks, Vicki wants the ladies to go around the table to talk about their departure from their respective shows. Phaedra immediately turns this down by saying “I’m not doing that but, in her confessional, says, “My departure was BS. There are always two sides to every story and then there is the truth. And let’s just say that there was only one side heard.” Dorinda says she’s lucky because she got “put on pause” during Covid. Brandi tells Dorinda that “put on pause” is just a fun word for fired. She thinks Dorinda is pissed for being fired from housewives.

Phaedra shifts the conversation and asks each lady about their favorite moment on their shows. Taylor says her favorite moment is when they all went to Vegas dancing as Brandi imitates the infamous Camille dance. Tamra says hers is when she got engaged to Eddie, Dorinda’s is when everyone came to her house in the Berkshires for the first time. Vicki’s favorite moment is when she surprised Michael at college, Eva’s when she got married and when her husband legally changed her daughter from a previous relationship last name to his. Jill’s favorite moment is the Morocco trip, Brandi says her fun times were with Lisa Vanderpump on and off camera while Phaedra’s favorite moments would include the birth of both of her sons.

Before the ladies leave the wine tasting, Dorinda takes this opportunity to talk to Vicki. She explains that she has admired Vicki over the years, and they got off on the wrong foot because it was hard to understand how a woman as beautiful and successful as Vicki could let a man bring her down. Dorinda admits she took Vicki’s behavior personally when she first arrived but now, she understands it had nothing to do with her and apologizes for not being more supportive of what Vicki was going through. Vicki is glad to get a genuine apology from Dorinda.

The ladies arrive back at the house and prepare for Christmas in September! Dorinda’s home is decorated beautifully in Christmas décor. All of the ladies are dressed beautifully, and as Brandi’s dress is brought up and she mentions that it was the dress that she was supposed to wear to the reunion with Denise, but she got “cancelled” the morning of. The infamous topic of Brandi and Denise comes up and the ladies discuss what happened from Brandi’s perspective. Brandi says, “She kind of hit it and quit it and it kind of broke my heart.” Dorinda says, “I don’t know why she would lie about it. Denise was married to Charlie Sheen, and he had an eclectic sex life so who knows, you never what goes on behind closed doors.” Tamra tells the group that she’s known Denise for 10 years and that Denise called her seeking advice when this scandal first happened. Tamra reveals that Denise completely denied having sex with Brandi but admits she believes Brandi, even though she slipped up and said she believes Denise first. Tamra reveals that something happened at BravoCon. It involves Denise soliciting Tamra to hook up and come to her hotel room. Tamra admits that Denise was very flirty and if she were single, she probably would have slept with her. Brandi thanks Tamra for being honest about her experience and is very thankful for Tamra having her back.

The conversation turns a little naughty when Tamra asks Brandi which ladies, she would like to have sex within the room and Brandi mentions Phaedra, Eva and Tamra. Brandi mentions that she wants to show Vicki how to use a vibrator while Tamra admits she’d want to sleep with Eva first, Brandi second and Phaedra third. In her confessional Phaedra says, “They like that chocolate. Melts in your mouth, not in your hands.” Meanwhile, Jill is offended that no one wants to sleep with her. When pushed to give an answer like the other girls Vicki admits “I’d probably do Brandi. She can teach me.”

As the ladies sit down for dinner, Dorinda says that she’s making sure not to drink much because she feels like she’s being watched. The ladies thank Dorinda for putting together such a festive dinner party. Phaedra says, “She made it nice.” Tamra asks, “Is there anyone here you thought you wouldn’t get along with?” Brandi jokingly says everyone but admits, “I wasn’t worried about Jill or Dorinda. I knew we’d get along. I knew Phaedra and I would get along in a weird way cause we’re the same but she’s like a better version of me and Eva I just want to have sex with.” Phaedra jokingly says, “I’m feeling jealous cause I thought I was your top choice. Now what’s going on?” Dorinda brings up that Taylor was worried most about being around Brandi. Brandi says that for people that have known her a long time she’s just a lover. Taylor says, Yeah, you are either f**king or fighting.” Taylor admits that she was hurt by Brandi and was holding on to that but she’s hopeful that they’ll move forward in friendship.

As Tamra and Eva walk outside because Tamra says Taylor makes her snore, Brandi takes this opportunity to “hit on” Vicki after the two shared a “peck” before dinner. Afterwards, all the ladies come outside because there is a snow machine blowing snow for the ladies and it really makes it feel a lot like Christmas. The ladies head back inside to play “White Elephant” and Tamra goes first choosing a gift that is a Gucci scarf. Brandi goes second and chooses the gift Taylor bought and then proceeds to make out with her. That’s classic Brandi. Taylor says in her confessional, “It’s Christmas the drinks are flowing, pillow lips. It was bound to happen.” Jill chooses a gift that’s an ugly Christmas sweater, Eva chooses a gift that is a silk collection, Taylor takes the Gucci scarf from Tamra, Phaedra chooses a gift that is a Jo Malone candle, Dorinda chooses Bluetooth sunglasses, Vicki chooses a vibrator and says she needs it. Dorinda says, “When you take a bunch of middle-aged women and put them in a room it spells vibrator.” Meanwhile, Brandi is ready to hand out lap dances to Jill and Vicki. All the ladies get up to dance and Phaedra jokingly says, “Honey, everybody is twerking and working. Marco better go hide.” Tamra acknowledges that tomorrow is the last day and she’s sad because she’s having a lot of fun with the girls. Dorinda ends the night with a toast and the ladies join in to say, “We laughed, we cried, and we made it nice!”

RHOBH Episode 9 Recap: Sutton And Diana On The Outs, Garcelle Is Ready To Check Erika

Episode 9 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is setting us up for some of the best Garcelle moments we’re sure to get this season. She is working for that coin, okay! The episode continues at Garcelle’s birthday party, where Sutton and Diana are battling it out. After originally declining Garcelle’s birthday invitation, Diana decides to surprise the ladies. Sutton questioned the validity of her health, and started to question Diana’s choice to attend the party. Obviously this is far much more than just an argument about “bed rest”; it’s a clash of the wealthy.

Diana has been open about several health issues she’s had, including a miscarriage. Sutton wanted to “relate” to Diana by sharing that she herself has lost two babies, but [producer] Kyle, made things worse. Kyle loves to give her two scents, and in her defense, it’s the name of the game. “You’ve lost two babies? I’ve never heard this before?” Said Kyle. Sutton explains she’s had two miscarriages, but a drunken Kyle isn’t buying it. “I love you but this feels like bullshit.” Sutton finds Kyle’s behavior rude, as she’s trying to find common ground with Diana, but maybe bringing up her own maternity issues isn’t the best way to empathize with her.

Diana looks at Sutton and says “You called me soulless, honey. I’m not falling for it.” A choked up Sutton responds, “If you think that this is fake, this is me being real, so if you wanna be a motherfucker–” and before she can finish Kyle grabs Sutton violently by the arms to stop her. Sutton is crying and telling Kyle that she’s being really mean by questioning her miscarriage. “Listen she lost her baby, you did not, maybe years ago I don’t know. This is recent,” said Kyle.

“It’s breaking my heart, and disappointing me in our friendship. She’s looking at me like she’s the devil,” says Sutton. Diana laughingly responds “Are you?” Sutton is distraught and crying, clearly she’s being bullied by her best friend, and a new enemy. It’s very reminiscent of last year’s drama with Crystal. An awkward broken down Sutton.

The drama moves inside the party as Erika starts with Garcelle’s family. A very drunk Erika says “Where’s your hot son” referring to her eldest, Oliver. “You know why? Dorit jokingly says “get Oliver out of here.” Erika shouts “Oliver get over here, you’re hot.” Erika lifted her leg, exposing herself, as she taunted Garcelle. Erika asks if he’s married to which he responds “yes”.  “Have your baby mama contact me on my DMs, we can get it in 3 ways,” says Erika.

It’s important to recognize the micro (or macro) aggression right here. Black people, especially black men are constantly objectified, sexually; dehumanizing them. Even using the phrase “baby momma” while referring to a black man, as if black men can’t have successful partnerships or marriages.

In her confessional Garcelle says “I get it, let your hair down, have a good time, but this doesn’t feel like that. This feels like take a moment, reassess your life, what’s happening, where are you going. This is not okay.” As everyone is leaving the party, Garcelle sends her 14 year old son Jax to grab some flowers from the table, and as he approaches Erika screams at him and tells him “wait what are you doing here, get the fuck out of here.” He frighteningly responds “I’m just getting flowers.” Crystal comforts him and escorts him out.

In her confessional Dorit says, “Oh my god Oh my god, I know Erikas drunk and I know she’s joking around but that’s Garcelle’s son. He’s 14 years old. I feel sick to my stomach.” She tries to explain to Erika that he was just getting the flowers for his momma. Jax turns to his mom and says: “I just got violated for grabbing flowers.”

It’s important to point out that they gave Crystal hell last year for using the word violated when describing the way Sutton treated her. Garcelle confronts Erika and says she hurt Jax’s feelings. Erika starts with the pretend amnesia, as if she didn’t say that in front of the cameras. Garcelle demands an apology to her son, and recommends Erika figure out her cocktail to meds ratio.

In the aftermath of Garcelle’s party Sutton and Kyle meet up for dinner to discuss their tussle the other night. Kyle says “I want to apologize, let me make that clear. I don’t think you made that up, I don’t think anyone would make that up. I don’t want you to think I ever thought that.” Kyle is referring to Sutton’s miscarriages. Sutton tells Kyle not to ever push her again. Kyle says that the push was a knee-jerk reaction. Kyle felt like it was convenient timing that Sutton would bring up her miscarriages while Diana was talking about her misfortune.

Sutton explains she was just trying to relate to her, and she didn’t even get to discuss with Diana what she wanted. Sutton interrupts, and an annoyed Kyle says “you’re really hard to have a conversation with.” As a Kyle stan, I can admit that she was being condescending as hell at this “apology” lunch with Sutton. When you say things such as: “You’re hard to apologize to.” “You don’t shut up.” “You’re such a delicate flower,” it comes across as condescending, and Sutton just takes it.

It’s time for Diana to tell her part of the story to Lisa Rinna, who couldn’t attend the party. Diana says that the party was good itself, but that Sutton caught her on the way out and did “the Sutton thing”, referring to her facial expressions and strange behavior. She describes the situation as a gambling game. “I put down one miscarriage, and she said I raise you two,” says Diana. Lisa is stunned and calls Sutton a Narcissist. Diana feels like when she’s around Sutton she gets dragged down to her level. After charting a private jet for the ladies in Mexico, Diana says next trip they can go commercial.

Date night gone wrong: The Umansky’s and the Kemsley’s sit down for a double date at Kyle’s house. It’s the first time PK is back at the house after meeting their home invasion. Kyle expresses that she was ready to move after her home was robbed, but eventually she was happy to stay. Dorit shares that she’s facing some challenges she can’t seem to shake, like driving a car for example. Any space where she has to be alone, is triggering for her. Dorit is still unsure if she wants to move or stay.

Kyle changes the mood by asking if anyone heard when Erika told Garcelle’s 14 year old son to go fuck off. “I mean it’s not funny but it is funny.” Mauricio says “I think it’s great that she did that.” Kyle says she likes seeing this more relaxed side of her. Dorit agrees and says that she can give her a pass because “ of course it’s not my child.” The twitter-sphere has unanimously agreed that it was disgusting and uncomfortable to watch the four of them pass off Erika’s inexcusable behavior towards a minor. Too often black boys are inappropriately treated as adults, and never given the chance to just be boys.

The dynamic duo we’ve been waiting for: Garcelle and friend of the show–Sheree Zampino. The ladies sit down for a pre game at Garcelle’s home before heading over to Suttons housewarming. Garcelle fills Sheree in on what transpired between Erika and her boys. Garcelle tells Sheree that she went back into the party and made it very clear to Erika that she can’t talk to her son like that ever again. She didn’t want to have a deep conversation with Erika in that condition. “I want her when she’s sober, and she can hear me. It’s happening today girl, I don’t know where you’re going to be but you better find me.” Sheree jokingly pretends to take off her earrings, getting ready for battle. You can tell this is the kind of friend you want in your corner when things pop off. Before heading off to Suttons the ladies toast to “setting a bitch straight.”

Sutton is almost finished with her house so she’s invited the ladies over for a luncheon. Lisa, Sheree, and Garcelle are the first to arrive and as the girls are getting cocktails, Garcelle sticks to something light because she wants to be “clear” before she confronts Erika. In her confessional Erika admits she’s worried about Garcelle. “I’m worried about this Haitian mom I’ve offended.” We get a flashback of two days earlier, where Crystal and Erika are recounting the other night. “It was like we were shit talking and I was treating the teenagers like they were adults. They’re 16, they’re not babies, let’s not,” says Erika. Crystal has to remind her they’re 14, and Erika suddenly has a change of attitude. “That puts it in a whole new perspective, thanks Crystal.”

Erika arrives at the party and as she approaches Garcelle the tension is so thick you can feel it through the tv screen. Erika goes to the bar and says “what is everyone drinking, I can only have one, I learned a lesson, I can only have one drink.” Garcelle responds with “Okay good, one is good.” As Erika is waiting for her drink, Garcelle gets her alone, but engages in small talk, she’s making her sweat. We can see Garcelle wants to do this in front of the group, like a top tier housewife would.

The party moves outside where the girls will have lunch, but in the words of Lisa Rinna, “we’re dealing with a swamp.” Sutton was not prepared for the weather, as the ground was muddy and a mess to move in. Sutton couldn’t put a rug under the table that morning? Lisa takes a dig at Sutton by saying that it’s very representative of her. “You got this beautiful table set gorgeously sitting in this mucky muddy muck, that’s Sutton Stracke for you.”

Diana’s presence isn’t necessarily missed at lunch, but it is noticed, which Garcelle called rude for not letting the hostess know. Sutton says she doesn’t like passive aggressive behavior and Lisa takes this time to make up for her absence in the last episode. “Well that’s the pot calling the kettle black isn’t it?”

Next week things are sure to boil over as Garcelle sets Erika straight.

RHODubai Episode 5 Recap: Phaedra Parks Makes Her Way to Dubai

In the latest episode of Real Housewives of Dubai, we meet Caroline B.’s cousin Shawn as they sit down for lunch to meet with the one, the only Ms. Phaedra Parks! Phaedra joins Caroline and Shawn for lunch and they instantly catch up on what each other has been up to. Phaedra wants to know what the men are like in Dubai and Caroline fills her in. Phaedra asks, “What are the men like here? They can have many wives, right? I like a sister wife because maybe she can cook, and I clean.” Caroline responds, “You can marry my ex, he’s available. He cheats.” Caroline makes it clear that it is very expensive to cheat on her honey! She states, “You’re not gonna make me become accustomed to a certain lifestyle, make me put my own life on hold, that I worked so hard to build and then you go and decide to cheat and ruin our home…. oh no darling. If you cheat, it’s gonna be expensive.” The lunch ends with Caroline inviting Phaedra to meet some of the other ladies at Ski Dubai.

The scene cuts to Lesa and her family spending time with the goat that Ayan gifted them. Lesa sits down with her husband Richard to catch him up on the previous night’s events involving Caroline S. Lesa tells her husband that Caroline S. did not like that her fiancé Sergio were sort of “meshing” with Ayan and herself. Suddenly, Caroline S. says to Sergio, “I hope she’s going to suck your d***”, in reference to Lesa. Lesa’s husband says that he’s glad he wasn’t in attendance because they both considered that comment to be inappropriate to say to a married woman and it would have made him angry. Richard throws shade by telling Lesa, “Listen, don’t engage with people like that. We’re talking about a 50-year-old influencer here.”

To further develop their friendship, Caroline S. invites Ayan over for dinner. In her confessional Caroline S. says, “I’ve separated the pole from the puppet so now maybe she’ll have her own brain. Lesa’s head is up Ayan’s a** and maneuver’s her body.” Caroline strongly feels that Ayan and Lesa are codependent on each other and can’t think for themselves. Ayan arrives at Stanbury’s home and makes note that she wants to see Caroline in her natural element to better understand who she is. The topic of more kids comes up and Sergio is wanting one or two kids to add to the family, but Caroline doesn’t share the same excitement. Caroline states, “I’m not a family-oriented person at all. I went to boarding school from age 6 to 18. I went to a therapist once and she said that I basically went to the army.” Caroline credits boarding school to shaping her feelings this way and not being good with emotions.

Sara takes Nina over to one of her family’s homes. Nina and Sara bond over their shared Arab culture as Sara’s family shares some of her childhood stories and viewers get an insight into how her entrepreneur mindset began at the young age of six. Nina appreciates Sara sharing these moments with her family as she is reminded of the memorabilia that her own family lost in the war in Lebanon. Nina talks about how her family struggled after moving to the United States because they started with nothing. It has made her appreciate everything and to take nothing for granted.

In the downtown Dubai mall, Ayan meets Lesa, and they catch up on what has happened since they last saw each other. Ayan tells Lesa that she went over to Caroline’s home and that they each had a nice time. Lesa tells Ayan about the comment Caroline S. made the other night but states that she wants to move forward and have fun with Caroline S. However, the day has arrived, and Caroline B has arranged for Phaedra, Shawn, Lesa, Caroline S., and Sergio to meet up at Ski Dubai. Caroline B. informs Phaedra that she has invited Lesa and Caroline even though the ladies don’t really like each other. In her confessional, Caroline B admits, “Phaedra said she wanted some tea. When she said that I knew exactly the tea bag I was gonna stir. Lesa Milan. Caroline Stanbury. Drink up Phaedra, enjoy.”

Lesa arrives before Caroline S. and Caroline B. takes this opportunity to inform Lesa that Caroline S. is coming. Lesa says in her confessional, “She knows we don’t get along, what is her motive? When I tell you this woman is messy, she is the definition of messy! Sour and bitter messy.” Phaedra, Caroline B., and Lesa are all dressed and ready to hit the ski slopes when Caroline S. arrives and announces that she will not join the other ladies in wearing the ski outfits provided by the resort. The tension between Caroline S. and Lesa ignites immediately because Lesa doesn’t feel like Caroline S. is being a team player. Caroline B. admits that she doesn’t think that Lesa has ever given Caroline S. a fair chance but she says, “If a b***h ever told me to suck someone’s d***, I would snatch that b***h and that would be the last thing she ever says. Period.”

The ladies gear up to hit the slopes! Although Caroline S. won’t be skiing because she’s only there to hang out and meet Phaedra. Caroline S. gives the impression that the baby slopes in Ski Dubai are beneath her. As Lesa goes gliding by, Caroline S. says, “She’s lucky I’m not pushing her faster down that mountain. The way I feel about that woman right now, I don’t care where that pole ends up.” Caroline B. admits that she was hoping this would be an opportunity for Lesa and Caroline S to mend but gives a shady laugh.

Later, everyone gathers for Ayan’s birthday dinner at Shanghai Me. As Ayan arrives with her son, she greets all the guests and thanks them for coming. Ayan asks Lesa how the goat is doing, and Caroline B. jokingly asks Ayan, “Why did I get lemons and not a goat?” Ayan responds, “It started bitter but, in the end, we made lemonade which is sweet.” Indicating that her relationship with Caroline B. was sour but they both decided to make it better. Caroline S. jumps in and says, “Well I got nothing. If that isn’t a subliminal message, then I don’t know what was.” In her confessional Ayan says, “Nothing. That is the best gift that I could have given her.”

The conversation shifts to Sergio and Caroline’s upcoming wedding. Caroline S. brings up the fact that she doesn’t want to spend the entire time sitting with Sergio’s parents because she has tons of friends coming in from LA that she wants to spend time with. Nina interjects and thinks Caroline should spend more time with Sergio’s parents since they’ve never met. Sergio does appear to be a bit saddened about Caroline’s stance even though Nina is doing her best to try to get through to Caroline. She wants her to see the other perspective. Nina states, “Caroline to you it’s no offense but others could be offended by that.” Sergio and Caroline begin to bicker, and it doesn’t seem like they’ll reach a resolution. Caroline S. admits that she doesn’t speak to her parents but twice a year so it’s very foreign to her how Sergio is with his family. Maybe it’s true or maybe it’s just shade but Ayan predicts this relationship not to last more than 3 years.

Stay tuned for upcoming episodes of the Real Housewives of Dubai, Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo!

Lisa Rinna Calls Sutton Stracke A Gold Digger

Lisa Rinna stepped into The Reality Rundown to let Sutton Stracke know what time it was, and from there it turned into a clap-back war between the co-stars. Grab your popcorn because this season just got better!

During the premier of season 12 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Sutton didn’t miss the chance to take a jab at co-star Erika Jayne. While both ladies are single and open to dating, Sutton made it clear to co-star Kyle Richards that unlike Erika, she doesn’t care if a man is rich. “So maybe my qualifications might be a little different than your friends.”

She didn’t stop there, to finish her Sutton said,  “I have my own money, so I look for character, humor. I guess maybe unlike Erika, I don’t need money,” she continued. “I don’t need that in order to make myself feel better. Maybe Erika misses her big house, all the jewelry and the lifestyle, so she has to look for someone that can provide that for her.”

In the spirit of defending her friend Erika, Lisa called Sutton a gold digger, resulting in an online feud between the reality stars and it all happened under our very own instagram account.

Rinna: “Oh yeah that’s right Sutton worked her ass off to have the money she has. I guess it takes a Golddigger to know one. She’s rich honey she’s RICHHHHH!!!!!!!! Cuz of her ex husband. And hey–more power to her–however you get your cash just own it baby..”

You know Sutton had to hit Lisa back with some southern charm.

Sutton: “Now Lisa. You know that I’ve known my ex since we were kids. Don’t be doin this.”

Rinna: “So if he stopped paying you monthly–then what? You’d be in the same spot as Erika. Don’t be startin something you can’t win.”

Rinna: “Ooof your so angry. I hit a nerve.”

Rinna: “Also I thought Sutton was just too busy in her life to see this tabloid sort of stuff happening? She sure saw this now didn’t she.”

Rinna: ”It’s hard when the husband makes all the money, it’s hard not to feel weird about it. I get it. That’s why I’ve always hustled and made my own Money.”

Rinna: “I hit a nerve.”

Sutton has been very vocal on the show about her ex-husband and his wealth. After their divorce she acquired much of it, including a baseball team or two.

Sutton and Erika have been feuding since last season, but things recently turned sour between Lisa and Sutton after she went on “Watch What Happens Live ” And accused Lisa and her husband, Harry Hamlin, of being ungrateful after she invited them as guests at an Elton John event.

We’re sure to see this feud make it to the season 12 reunion.

Eboni K. Williams Says Sonja Morgan Was The Only Person Open To A Diverse Cast

Carlos King spent years producing drama, now he’s spilling the tea on it. King is famous for some of the pettiest housewives fights in bravo history. From Jersey to Atlanta, he produced iconic scenes that we still reference today. With his new podcast, “Reality with the King”, we can expect exclusive tea from his time as  a producer for the housewives franchise.

The housewives universe has been shaken ever since news broke that RHONY would be split into two shows: RHONY: legacy (working title) and RHONY. The legacy series will catch up with some OG’s and fan favorites, while Season 14 of RHONY will center a “multicultural” cast of real friends that better represent New York City’s elite.

Williams was afforded an advanced call from production about the executive decision regarding the two shows; without telling much she says “When the general populous found out I was informed.” She admits she was in her feelings at first. “I feel very strongly that I did everything in my power, everything I knew, to do everything I could do to show up full throttle as my inaugural season as a housewife.”

Season 13, starring Williams, was shot during lock-down. She’s been vocal about how she feels she’s been robbed of traditional housewife perks, such as the international trips, the reunion, and the glitz and glam of it all.

After digesting the news, Williams said that the decision is more than fair. “The audience deserves to see what has always made housewives successful: which is not a plug and play casting situation. It is a curation of an existing friend group of women with different personalities, different dynamics, different  aspects, coming together and living that out loud for television.” Essentially Williams will have to audition for her job all over again.

King gives his two cents, “I felt that, wow did Eboni shake the table so much that she single-handedly raised the flag to a show that did not represent diversity that we all know New York has become? And because people i.e the audience, have said Eboni ruined the show.” Williams has both white and black critics. King implies that they can’t get rid of Williams as the first black housewife of New York City.

King believes they want to create two separate shows to appease black folks, while saving Ramona’s job. He thinks that if it hadn’t been for Williams being on the show this would have never happened. I agree. Although Bravo took a hit with Betheny’s departure, letting go of Ramona is too much of a risk for the network.

Williams was willing to negotiate with her former castmates about what an ensemble future could look like that included everyone. “They were unwilling to come to the table and meet me even halfway in that negotiation.” Eboni makes it clear that only Sonja Morgan was open to changes. Apparently Ramona, LuAnne, and Leah were not willing to engage. In Williams’ opinion, that is the reason they are getting these two shows.

The Real Housewives of New York City Season 13 Cast

“If those same former castmates of mine had been willing to enter into the negotiation of co-existing and sharing space with myself and additional women outside of their particular New York world and bubble, you would have had a season 14 that was what everybody anticipated. A proper integration of old school and new school.”

Am I really shocked that Leah was unwilling to be part of the growth? No. At the end of the day we’re talking about Upper East Side white women.

King said he had his doubts about Eboni as a housewife, and even said out loud “Does Eboni belong on this show?” To which Williams quickly replied, “Or do they belong on this show? I think that’s what Bravo is ultimately telling us that they concluded. That perhaps the time is up for that energy to be at the forefront of one of the flagships.”

Williams had no problem giving Bethenny her flowers. She said that Bethenny “activated” the show, and even calls her “a force multiplier”. Williams learned that phrase from a prolific NFL coach. “A force multiplier is a type of individual you can drop into any scenario and everyone around them comes alive. Everyone around them offers something better, different, stronger.”

She continues, “Housewives all across the board are peppered with plug and play types.” But there will always be force multipliers: The Bethenny’s, the Kenya Moores,  the Tamara Judges, and the Gizelle Bryants.

While interviewing Williams, King had an epiphany. “You don’t have to confirm or deny this, this is me saying it. I now understand you were put in a box to represent a movement so that other people could say see we talked about it, we’re on the path and we’re a part of the movement so leave us alone PR people leave us alone black Twitter, instead of saying why can’t we represent Eboni K. Williams on this show the way we did with Garcelle on Beverly Hills.”

He continues, “I now realized in this “aha” moment you were never given a fair chance of showing the authenticity of who you are because there was one agency that was placed on you and the fucked up part about it is you and the black community, the pressures of the black community on your shoulders and that is not fair to a woman who is walking into 13 years of an established show. So I apologize to you.”

Williams gracefully tells him no apology is needed. She explains that she has successfully divorced herself from white comfort and white approval. What’s important to her is acceptance and relationship by the black community and culture.

King believes that Williams will be back because apart from her diverse friend group, she is going to show a side to herself that the audience hasn’t seen. He said “We saw a glimmer of that when you were on WWHL. Everybody watched you on the most recent episode of WWHl and fell in love with you.”

Williams shares that no one (production) made space for her personal story because they were too preoccupied with the racial conflict that was existing between Williams and the veteran cast members. She admits she stopped watching the show after black shabbat. “It’s not an accident when you’re the first black woman they choose to put on the platform for what I now can say retroactively  was a demolition of sorts.”

King believes that the reboot of RHONY will be Eboni and other women, and that the show will be on peacock, while RHONY: legacy will be on Bravo. “I believe based on the fact that the ratings for this past season of NYC wasn’t the greatest, that bravo is not going to take a chance of putting on the linear network a brand new cast hoping to cas that same audience.”

Williams disagrees; apparently the ratings weren’t much better than season 12. RHONY hadn’t been doing great for a while, so just because the OG gets back together again, doesn’t mean that the ratings will sky rocket.

Williams admits that she wasn’t swooning over being a housewife for season 13. She was more concerned with being an important representation of black womanhood on a global iconic platform. “Now a bitch is old, outside is open, I want to be a housewife now. I’m kind of bought into it, the whimsicalness of that part now.

If she is invited to the reboot of season 14 it would look more like Eboni’s crew. “Why wouldn’t I continue the relationship that’s already been established and consider building a fuller cast around a woman who is clearly at the center of media elite New York, of cultural integration and intersection, and is on the cusp of making massive life decisions concerning baby, man, and money. It just makes sense to me.”

Williams has hired a matchmaker to support her journey to love and marriage.

As we speak, Williams is in work mode when it comes to pitching her group of friends to the network. “I’m not going through instagram. I’m going through my text messages. When it comes to who I’m actually going to put a bra on for, and go out my house with by choice, with no check attached thats a small group of women, they just happen to be fantastic”

When asked if she would want Bershan back on the show, she states that she has no beef with her. She wishes for her health, prosperity, and happiness. Bershan and Eboni were never friends, Bershan and Ramona were never friends, and news flash: Eboni and Leah were never friends.

“They identified two exceptional black women. The two most educated people that appeared on your screen for RHONY were myself with a doctorate and Bershan with her master’s from Syracuse, baby don’t play with us. So when it comes to credentials and qualifications we were overqualified to be amongst  those particular women.”

Williams shares that during filming her and Bershan had a conversation where it was kind of odd that they had to kiss the ring, and sing for their supper, and be invited to things.

King throws his hat in the bid and wants his production company to produce the upcoming season of RHONY. “I know how to produce a diverse cast. I did Jersey. I did Atlanta.” For the last 13 seasons the same production company has been behind the “crown jewel” that RHONY is, but it’s time for someone who understands the (new) assignment.

EXCLUSIVE: Tiffany Moon “Politely Declines” Returning to Real Housewives of Dallas

Tiffany Moon, M.D. graced the screen as the newest member of “The Real Housewives of Dallas” and quickly became a fan favorite for her kind attitude and cheerfulness. In 2021 she joined season 5, but the lone–star had a short-lived Bravo career. The show was placed on hiatus after wrapping up the season. Now word on the street is that the Peacock network is working on reviving the series for season 6.

It’s no secret Moon had a complicated relationship with the ladies. While filming she shared that she had never had a group of girlfriends before, so joining a group of girls, housewives, was sure to be a challenge. It was evident that she felt uncomfortable during many of the cast outings. It was as if she was forcing herself to have a good time, and to be honest it was cringy to watch at times.

One thing you might say kept her on the show was the platform. Moon used several moments throughout the show to raise awareness for violence against the AAPI community. We see the efforts across the pond, in Beverly Hills, with Real Housewife Crystal Kung Minkoff. Moon took the opportunity, as an Asian American immigrant, to share her culture with the ladies and the viewers.

Early in the season Moon was excited to host the ladies for dim sum, a traditional Chinese meal. Those southern ladies were not prepared, or appreciative for traditional Chinese food, most noticeably, chicken feet. Little did Moon know it would be used as a weapon throughout the season. Their poor manners left Moon unimpressed; we’re looking at you Kameron Westcott.

Moon and Westcott engaged in a lengthy twitter feud. The Westcott’s really showed their colors as they spewed hate, during a time that Asian Americans faced violence at a record high. It’s normal for housewives to fall into twitter wars, but things got awkward when Kameron’s husband, Court Westcott, and brother-in-law Chart Westcott, joined in on the tweets.

Court Westcott tweeted, “‘Anti-racism’ is racism. It discriminates by the color of one’s skin. They tried that once in Germany, it did not work out well. I don’t understand how many of your patients would be comfortable with you treating them with your open vile racism [sic].” According to Page Six Court Westcott has since deleted his Twitter account.

His brother Chart alleged in a tweet, “I’ve spoken to her twice, once when she was blackout drunk at my house but needed to get home for early work. Wonder if she had a hangover while working on her patients?”

Moon took action against the defamatory tweets and her lawyer told Variety in a statement “The insinuations the Westcotts made in those tweets are reckless, defamatory and applying. Dr. Moon is a professional in every sense of the word and is deserving of the excellent reputation that she’s earned as a physician and as a hard working mother. These attacks on her character will not be tolerated. The Westcotts would be well advised to keep mentions of Dr. Moon out of their social media feeds.”

Bravo denounced the Westcotts horrific tweets “Bravo strongly supports the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community. Anti-Racism is, in fact, not a form of racism and the network stands by Dr. Tiffany Moon and her advocacy against racism and violence.”

With rumors going around that Peacock might pick up the series for season 6, fans quickly called on Moon to help revive the series. Moon responded, but to their dissatisfaction, she’ll “politely decline” returning to RHOD.

EXCLUSIVE: Cynthia Bailey Hill On New Chapter Of Life, And Where She Stands With Her Former RHOA Castmates

RHOA Alum Cynthia Bailey Hill joins TRR’s Chase Brown during an episode of Reality Right After to dish on all the new things happening in her life. Cynthia starts the interview off by letting fans know that this next chapter of her life has been very busy. Cynthia stated, “this is the busiest I think I have ever been in a long time. Honestly for me, I have an incredible work ethic and I understand that this industry has a lot of options. I’m a woman of a certain age and there are a lot of talented women out here in this lane so for me I’ve always been that girl that if you let me in the room, I’m showing up every single time.” Cynthia noted that remaining humble in this industry is very important to her spiritually.

Chase dived right into Cynthia’s time on Celebrity Big Brother (CBB). He wanted to know what her time was like in the CBB house. Cynthia enthusiastically said, “this was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. I thought having a background in reality tv would help me be prepared but it did not help me at all. This is a situation where you have no phones, no tv, no yard, no sun, you can’t even walk out the front door because it’s locked! There is no way to decompress and you’re in a house with 11 strangers for 30 days. With that said, it was so amazing because I got to see how patient I was.”

Cynthia mentioned having had such a good time with fellow RHOBH alum Teddi Mellencamp during their time on Celebrity Big Brother. “I have never laughed so much in my life. Teddi is wonderful, she is hilarious, and we had a great time together. I was sad to see her go but somebody had to be the first to go but I’m looking forward to hanging out with her outside of the house.” Chase proceeded to ask the burning question on everyone’s mind and that is “what happened in the fight between Cynthia and Todd Bridges?” Cynthia explained, “let me start by stating that I was the biggest Todd Bridges fan. Todd Bridges has been around a long time, and I think I may have even had a poster of him back in the day. I was very excited to see but of course he was the very first one that I fell out with. We got into an argument because I didn’t vote for him to get off the block when it was between him and Teddi. He ended up getting on the block at the last minute and Teddi, who I knew was on the block, was a part of my alliance. We did end up exchanging words that I didn’t like but I apologized for my part in it. Now that’s my boy! We’re friends for life at this point.”

At the halfway mark in the interview, Chase brought up the show many viewers have come to love and that is Real Housewives Ultimate Girl Trip (RHUGT) and wanted to know what Cynthia’s experience was like on the show. “I was excited to be a part of the first one because we kicked it off. Fans have wanted this for a long time. It was good until it wasn’t for me. I got a little bit in my feelings. When it came to my Bailey-Que and people not wanting to play my games. I changed the games 50 different times to try and make everyone comfortable. I’m a team player and it’s not like the other ladies had exciting events, but I participated anyway. I just wished I had been met with that same reciprocity. So, it was a great show, but it didn’t end up being the best for me. In the end, Kenya and I had a moment. You know Kenya is like my friend and our rift really hurt my feelings, but it is what it is.”

Chase asked, “Is there any chance of a reconciliation for you and Kenya and why was it so important for you to express how you felt after the Bailey-Que?” Cynthia responded, “I just wanted her to know why I was feeling some kind of way, my feelings were hurt, and I have not always expressed my feelings. It’s important to set boundaries in a friendship and be able to express when you have an issue with that person. At the end of that day, I don’t have any friends that if they make it known that they’re bothered by something its important to discuss. I felt like after that the energy didn’t really change and that hurt my feelings again. It’s hard maintaining friendships on our platform, and I had to put some space between it, but the love is there, I love me some Kenya Moore. At this moment we are not where we use to be and that’s ok because that’s just how life works sometimes. When the time is right maybe we’ll be able to get back to a better place.”

Chase asked about Cynthia’s upcoming Lifetime film Cruel Instruction. Cynthia dished on how this role came to be and everything she wanted us to know about the upcoming film. “First and foremost, I love the Lifetime network! So, I couldn’t be happier than to kick off my acting debut and to have this opportunity with them! I was offered this role and resonated with it because I am a mother, and the biggest priority of a mother is to protect her children. In the movie, my husband and I send our daughter away to a teen treatment facility for troubled teens. She’s getting bullied at school, she gets expelled, and we’re told of this academy that’s supposed to be great and help her, but it ends up being a place where they abuse kids. She gets put through a lot in the film. This is an intense film.”

In talking about her real life, Cynthia states, “I didn’t know much about these types of institutions because I never sent Noelle to anything like this, but we have people like Paris Hilton that are speaking out against these types of places that exist. It’s a conversation we need to have more because this is something that is really happening. So, I’m glad to be a part of a movie that is shining a light on this because it is inspired by true life events.” I’m looking forward to this next chapter in my life which is acting. I’m excited about it and passionate about it.”

Cynthia credits having learned a lot through watching her daughter’s father, the actor Leon Robinson. She talks about how he stayed in character the entire time he filmed his iconic role of David Ruffin in The Temptations. She said, “I learned a lot about the process and the business through him. The man played the hell out of David Ruffin. So just being around his acting process I was able to use a lot of things that I hadn’t realized I picked up.” Cynthia and Chase wrapped up the interview by reminding everyone to stay tuned to all things Cynthia Bailey.
