Is She By Sheree Really Going To Launch After Over 10 Years Of Waiting?

The Real Housewives of Atlanta are all about business. While Kenya looks for a local distributor for her hair care line, Sheree is working with her designer to bring She by Sheree to fruition. Sanya landed a campaign deal with iFit, not to be confused with “Drop it with Drew. Kandi is starring in a new TV series and Marlo is realizing that being a parent is a full-time job.

We finally meet Marlo’s sister Crystal, who is taking in their nephews while Marlo tries to get her mind right. Crystal supports Marlo’s decision to take a break from the boys, but she does caution Marlo to think about how she speaks to them, because they have feelings as well. Marlo is holding a peach for the first time, and although we know a little about her upbringing she’s sharing more this season. She isn’t shy about her time in foster care.

It’s touching to hear that Marlo was a full-time guardian to her sister Crystal at one point. “When Crystal was around 14 or 15 (2005) I found out Crystal was in foster care; I did whatever I had to do to get her, I moved her to Atlanta with me.”

The Real Housewives of Atlanta are on their way to Georgia’s Blue Ridge mountains for their first cast trip. Since Marlo put the road trip together, they could only travel in style; she’s provided the ladies with a Rolls-Royce Ghost and an Aston Martin DBX.

Kenya’s disdain for Marlo has her debating if she wants to go on the trip. Marlos isn’t quite sure how her and Kenya got to a bad place. Sheree shares some food for thought. “Well when I talked to her she said when you called her a liar that triggered all the things that you have done before.” Marlos says, “Why can’t two black sisters just get along.”

The ladies make it to the “cabin”, but in typical Marlo fashion it’s an Aspen inspired estate. Marlos is nothing if not consistent with the shade, so to distribute the rooms she made candles for each of the ladies, and they had to guess who it belonged to. Devotion & Delusion: Kenya Good vibes & Fresh gossip: Kandi 2022 High hopes & low expectations: Sheree Color Coordinated Workout Gear: Sanya. Repeat Resolutions & Wishful Thinking: Drew

While the ladies head to dinner in the mountains and Kandi gets a text from Kenya that reads:

Kenya: I’m here! Anyone asking about me?

Kandi: Yay! No.

Kenya: Come outside and get me.

Everyone is pleasantly surprised to see Kenya, except Marlo. She says, “I’m kind of hurt, Kandi you knew she was coming. You’re also excited that Kenya’s here, but it’s okay I’m holding my composure you will not get the best of me, bitch, not.”

Kenya mentions her daughter Brooklyn might be joining her the day after, so she’s booked a house close to the ladies, but they seem disappointed she won’t be part of the house gang. Kandi tells Kenya that the house is huge, so there’s enough space for her and Brooklyn, but Kenya reminds them that they made an issue about it last season at Cynthia’s bachelorette weekend, so she didn’t want a repeat of it.

Sanya finally joins the ladies and shares her new business venture with iFit, who will be catering Sanya and her friends to a trip to Jamaica, which will serve as the second cast trip of the season.

But even that couldn’t keep Marlo and Kenya from having a tussle. Marlo insists that Kenya stay with them at the house. “Well I would love for you not to attend unless you’re staying at the house, I really planned a trip for all of us, I would love to have you at the house brooklyn is more than welcome as well, but if you do choose that i don’t want to stay there I don’t like marlo I don’t want you to continue to hangout with us.”

Kenya responds, “Oh I’ll definitely be there to experience all the ladies so thank you so much.” Marlo lets her know that’s not an option if she’s not staying at the house. This was the beginning of a much bigger issue.

Kenya says, “The issue is also Marlo, so you say things like ‘oh you love people and you don’t know why i’m hurt’, but the thing is you seem like you are the hurt one.” Marlo interrupts her and Kenya asks for a minute to explain herself without rebuttals. Marlo agrees but that doesn’t last long as she interrupts to say “wait a second before you continue i’m gonna be quiet but can you promise when I speak back you will stay and listen like i’m gonna be quiet as well? That’s all I ask.”

After Kenya called her hurt, insincere, the worst friend and toxic, Marlo responds.” Am I hurt? You’re damn right I have trust issues and I’m fucked up just ike you. We both have attention issues, we both have insecurities.” Marlo continues, “I’m the one from jail as you say, I’m the one from prostitution as you say. You should lead, I should follow you queen, I look up to you.” To this Kenya just rolls her eyes.

As you can imagine, it’s definitely not good vibes from here on out. Stay tuned as next week the drama continues.

Garcelle Says Erika Jayne Is The Most Scandalous Woman In America Today, S12E12 Recap

Trigger warning: Food sensitive content.

Previously on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills…Erika did it again. First she attacked Garcelle’s family and then she attacked Crystal. At Diana’s Christmas party Erika was inquiring a lot about Crystal’s eating disorder. Crystal shared with Erika and Garcelle that sometimes she feels bad after eating to which Erika responds, “Well I always think take laxatives and get rid of it.”

Diana’s Husband, Asher, sings for the group and a drunk Erika couldn’t resist seeking attention. “I think Erika probably misses the spotlight.” Garcelle continues, “She won’t shut up, it’s awkward.”

Kathy walks outside and has the most awkward conversation with Erika. “Kathy I want to say something and I want to get it off my chest. You invited me to a lot of events and the truth is I didn’t want to bring my scorn and my fucking scarlet letter onto your daughters and onto you.” Kathy is so confused at this moment. She walks back inside to tell the ladies that Erika is getting out of control. Kathy says, “You don’t ever want to put yourself in a position of drinking and then losing control and doing something stupid.”

Kyle defends Erika’s behavior and suggests the group cut her some slack because at least she is “loosening up”. Garcelle makes it clear she’s not cutting anyone slack. Kyle is sensitive to labeling anyone an alcoholic after her sister, Kim Richards, battled for her sobriety on the show. Kyle claims Garcelle is baiting her into defining Erika’s behavior as a problem, but Kyle won’t do it.

Erika credits Lisa and her daughters for supporting her through the last year. Erika claims that Lisa’s daughter, Amelia, inspired her to take care of her mental health. “I’m on Lexapro, guess what, now I’m on wellbutrin. And I’m on other things and yes I ‘ve had a few drinks but the truth is I’m okay.”

Garcelle goes over to Erika and Lisa to say goodbye, and Diana uses the moment to apologize for her behavior at Garcelle’s party. “My behavior at your party was inappropriate, it really was.” Diana continues, “Sutton said a few things, she literally pressed every button there was to press.” Diana admits she lashed out at Garcelle. “I do apologize. I see it in your eyes that you like me.” Garcelle accepted her apology.

PK was recently arrested on suspicion of DUI. According to Dorit, “PK went to a work dinner. He was driving home after having a glass of wine, got pulled over and brought to the station.” Dorit found out the day after. According to PK, he blew a 0.81, where the legal limit is allegedly 0.8. “There’s one thing and one thing only that is extremely important to me, as you know, in our marriage. We do not lie to one another. Period.” Dorit continues, “Not a little lie, not a big lie, not a white lie.” PK admits that the only reason he told her was because he needed Dorit to pick up her car.

Lisa pays Erika a visit to discuss the holiday party at Diana’s, but more importantly Erika’s drinking. Lisa lets her know she was slurring her words and out of control. Erika claims that when she got home she blacked out and hit her head. Lisa says, “Mikey is family to Erika and I’m probably the closest to Erika, so Erika’s in a place where she needs to hear what the two of us have to say, period, end of story.”

Lisa attributes the drinking to the trauma Erika has gone through with her husband’s criminal issues. She believes Erika has turned to alcohol because she’s in a lot of pain. Lisa’s sister died of a drug overdose, so she understands why someone may want to numb themselves. Erika admits, “I pushed it too far. I did the wrong thing.” She thanks Lisa for being a real friend.

Covid has changed the way the ladies celebrate the holidays, from large gatherings to intimate ones. I guess you could say Sutton’s was the most intimate, as she spent it alone, while her children traveled to Italy with their father and his new girlfriend. Sutton tested positive right before the holidays so she woke up Christmas morning probably feeling like scrooge. She was so lonely she admitted that she called almost every ex-boyfriend she ever had.

Sutton’s dating qualifications are as follows: someone tall, who has a job and is educated. Deal-breakers would be: an affection towards hoodies, ponytail, a white unmarked van.

Garcelle and Erika meet up for drinks at a rooftop. Immediately Erika tries to play nice by ordering a chamomile tea. She wanted to be on her best behavior with Garcelle, but the server told her that hot drinks are served on the roof, so Erika did what any sensible person would do, change to cognac. Garcelle suggests a Shirley temple.

Erika confesses that the last couple of times they’d seen each other she was blacked out. When Garcelle asked why Erika responded, “Medicine, and thinking I could drink on it.” Erika couldn’t wait to tell Garcelle that her friend Lisa came to the house to let her have it. That moment was so rehearsed.

By doing so I think Erika believed the ladies (Garcelle) would back off if the most Loyal person to Erika, also took issue with her drinking. “I think the first is recognizing that you have a problem, and I think she’s doing that, so I believe her and I’m glad to see that she is owning it and hopefully she will,” says Garcelle.

Erika comes out of left field to say that Sheree is better to have in her corner than Sutton because Sutton is a “liability.” Garcelle doesn’t understand why everyone comes down on her so hard. Erika claimed Sutton is “unpredictable”; strangely Erika and Sutton have been getting along well for all of a sudden Erika to say this. Garcelle says, “The bottom line is Erika is a liability walking around every day. Is there a more scandalous woman in America today than Erika Jayne?”

Garcelle Checks Erika, Diana Agrees That She’s “Fake”

The time has finally come for Garcelle to “set a bitch straight”! The ladies are at Sutton’s housewarming luncheon, and after making Erika sweat a bit, Garcelle is ready to confront her for disrespecting her 14 year old son. Last week Erika shared that she can only have one drink. She is definitely filling up on the booze and Garcelle has been very observant. “You know it’s not that I’m paying all my attention to Erika at all, but she said she was only going to have one drink. We’re up to three.”

Garcelle lets Erika know that her liquor level was out of control at the party, which resulted in an uncomfortable situation for Garcelle’s teenage son. “Under no circumstances though can you disrespect, not only a kid, but my kid.” To everyone’s surprise Erika owned it, and apologized, and it actually sounded sincere. Erika says, “I agree and take full responsibility and you know what, I was shit talking and treating the kids like they were adults, and I was wrong.”

For all the housewives reading this, that is how you do it. Erika is far from a class act, but for someone who has created a brand based on not being ashamed and embarrassed for being who they are (Erika Jayne), we see that in fact Erika was ashamed and embarrassed for her actions that night.

Based on Kyle’s facial expression, she seems confused, and in a matter of seconds Garcelle calls Kyle out.

Garcelle: “What are you doing that for, why’d you do that face?”

Kyle: “For as long as I’ve known Erika I’ve never seen her lose her composure one time, so I think she’s allowed a little bump here.”

Garcelle: “This is what I mean by jumping ship Kyle, this is what I mean by jumping ship, I’m having a conversation with her, and it’s not like I’m saying anything badly.”

Kyle: “She’s literally had, in seven years, two instances—”

Garcelle: “But I’m not talking to you, I’m talking to her.”

In her confessional Kyle says “Was it wrong for Erika to tell Garcelle’s son to fuck off—100 percent, but am I happy that she’s let her hair down and is having some fun and not so guarded as she used to be, absolutely. Does that mean I’ve jumped ship? No I haven’t.”

Friend of the show (and to Garcelle) Sheree tries to help Kyle understand that right now she just needs to be neutral. Erika interjects to say “Before I insulted your children I actually paid them a huge compliment in saying that your younger boys were so well spoken and were not acting like teenagers that wanted to be on their phone and not talking to other guests, and I thought to myself that’s a real testament to Garcelle.”

“It’s great if a stranger comes up to you and says I think you’re a really good mom, when it comes from another mom that knows what it’s like to do it alone, that to me is the best compliment I could ever have.” Garcelle continues, “Am I annoyed with Erika? Absolutely, has she scored a point—*sighs* yeah.”

Sheree breaks the ice by asking Erika if she was trying to have a threesome with Garcelle’s older son Oliver, to which Erika admits. “I would.” Sheree responds, “Me too, bitch.”

Sheree, Garcelle, and Kyle meet for drinks and they get right to it. They discuss the 1-on-1 between Garcelle and Erika. Garcelle understands Erika has been through a lot. She explains that it was never about her not having fun. “We’re not just talking about ‘oh my gosh she’s a little tipsy lets just put her in an uber,’ I mean what more do you want to see?” It sounds like Garcelle is implying that things will only get worse from here.

Kyle is happy to see a more vulnerable side to Erika. Garcelle poses the question, “And you don’t think that could lead to alcoholism?” Immediately you can see how triggered Kyle is by that accusation, considering her tumultuous past with her sister. (Kim Richards). Kyle responds, “I think that’s a very dramatic statement.” In Garcelle’s defense, she might also be triggered given her son’s addiction issues.

At Garcelle’s birthday Sutton tried to relate to Diana by telling her about her experience losing two babies, but Diana felt it wasn’t genuine. After hearing that Diana didn’t necessarily leave off on the same page as her, Sutton sat down to meet Diana for round two.

The first time Diana and Sutton met, in a group, Diana said she believed Sutton is clumsy with her words. Diana now clarifies, “I actually have changed my mind. I don’t think you’re clumsy with words. I actually think you mean what you say.” Sutton looked dumbfounded.

Diana says, “Do you know how you said it?” Sutton responds by telling her that it was very sincere. “I don’t share my stories of my miscarriages with many people,” says Sutton. Diana even feels bold enough to tell Sutton that her exact words were “I’ll raise you two” in response to Diana having a one miscarriage. If you watched the scene, you know that wasn’t what Sutton actually said, and it’s wild that this is the hill Diana is willing to die on.

This entire scene with Diana and Sutton was pure insanity and the gaslighting at its finest. Diana admits that the hug at Garcelle’s birthday was “the fakest hug I’ve ever had in my life.” Sutton asks, “So who’s fake now?” Diana responds “I am”, and in that moment Sutton had never looked more confused. Sutton says she would rather deal with Erika over Diana any day. If Diana is looking to be a one season housewife, she’s doing a great job.

Stay tuned as next week Kathy Hilton makes her season 12 debut.

Jen Shah Pleads Guilty In Wire Fraud Case, Faces Up To 14 Years In Prison

Jennifer Shah faces 168 months in prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star appeared before the U.S. District Court Judge Sidney Stein in Manhattan on Monday July 11, 2022.

Shah was arrested in March of 2021 for having a role in a telemarketing scheme which targeted hundreds of people, specifically those over the age of 55. The arrest was captured by Bravo later that year.

Shah’s arrest was the biggest storyline during season 2 of the RHOSLC; at the reunion she doubled down on her innocence. “I am fighting this. I am innocent. And I will fight for every person out there who can’t fight for themselves because they don’t have the resources or the means, so they don’t fight.”

The Bravolebrity’s assistant, Stuart Smith, was arrested just before her, to which he pleaded guilty. According to Page Six Smith was charged with one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing, one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering and one count of obstructing an official proceeding. He originally pleaded not guilty, but then changed his plea to guilty and agreed to testify against Shah.

Over the course of the year Shah attempted to convince the audience that she was innocent of any wrongdoing, and she almost got away with it. But in the words of Andy Cohen, “The success rate of the New York State Attorney is like 95%.”

Originally Shah pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering. She was set to stand trial on July 18, but she changed her previous not guilty plea just one week before. Shah’s new plea deal involves dropping the second charge. Shah has agreed to forfeit $6.5 million and she has to pay up to $9.5 million in restitution. Her sentencing is now set for Fall 2022, where she may face up to 11 and 14 years in prison.

Shah said she knew it was wrong and illegal, “many people were harmed and I’m so sorry.” She continued by saying there was a “misrepresentation of the product, regarding the value of the service,” noting it “had little to no value.”

Priya Chaudhry, her attorney, told NBC News her client pleaded guilty “because she wants to pay her debt to society and put this ordeal behind her and her family.”

RHOBH Episode 9 Recap: Sutton And Diana On The Outs, Garcelle Is Ready To Check Erika

Episode 9 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is setting us up for some of the best Garcelle moments we’re sure to get this season. She is working for that coin, okay! The episode continues at Garcelle’s birthday party, where Sutton and Diana are battling it out. After originally declining Garcelle’s birthday invitation, Diana decides to surprise the ladies. Sutton questioned the validity of her health, and started to question Diana’s choice to attend the party. Obviously this is far much more than just an argument about “bed rest”; it’s a clash of the wealthy.

Diana has been open about several health issues she’s had, including a miscarriage. Sutton wanted to “relate” to Diana by sharing that she herself has lost two babies, but [producer] Kyle, made things worse. Kyle loves to give her two scents, and in her defense, it’s the name of the game. “You’ve lost two babies? I’ve never heard this before?” Said Kyle. Sutton explains she’s had two miscarriages, but a drunken Kyle isn’t buying it. “I love you but this feels like bullshit.” Sutton finds Kyle’s behavior rude, as she’s trying to find common ground with Diana, but maybe bringing up her own maternity issues isn’t the best way to empathize with her.

Diana looks at Sutton and says “You called me soulless, honey. I’m not falling for it.” A choked up Sutton responds, “If you think that this is fake, this is me being real, so if you wanna be a motherfucker–” and before she can finish Kyle grabs Sutton violently by the arms to stop her. Sutton is crying and telling Kyle that she’s being really mean by questioning her miscarriage. “Listen she lost her baby, you did not, maybe years ago I don’t know. This is recent,” said Kyle.

“It’s breaking my heart, and disappointing me in our friendship. She’s looking at me like she’s the devil,” says Sutton. Diana laughingly responds “Are you?” Sutton is distraught and crying, clearly she’s being bullied by her best friend, and a new enemy. It’s very reminiscent of last year’s drama with Crystal. An awkward broken down Sutton.

The drama moves inside the party as Erika starts with Garcelle’s family. A very drunk Erika says “Where’s your hot son” referring to her eldest, Oliver. “You know why? Dorit jokingly says “get Oliver out of here.” Erika shouts “Oliver get over here, you’re hot.” Erika lifted her leg, exposing herself, as she taunted Garcelle. Erika asks if he’s married to which he responds “yes”.  “Have your baby mama contact me on my DMs, we can get it in 3 ways,” says Erika.

It’s important to recognize the micro (or macro) aggression right here. Black people, especially black men are constantly objectified, sexually; dehumanizing them. Even using the phrase “baby momma” while referring to a black man, as if black men can’t have successful partnerships or marriages.

In her confessional Garcelle says “I get it, let your hair down, have a good time, but this doesn’t feel like that. This feels like take a moment, reassess your life, what’s happening, where are you going. This is not okay.” As everyone is leaving the party, Garcelle sends her 14 year old son Jax to grab some flowers from the table, and as he approaches Erika screams at him and tells him “wait what are you doing here, get the fuck out of here.” He frighteningly responds “I’m just getting flowers.” Crystal comforts him and escorts him out.

In her confessional Dorit says, “Oh my god Oh my god, I know Erikas drunk and I know she’s joking around but that’s Garcelle’s son. He’s 14 years old. I feel sick to my stomach.” She tries to explain to Erika that he was just getting the flowers for his momma. Jax turns to his mom and says: “I just got violated for grabbing flowers.”

It’s important to point out that they gave Crystal hell last year for using the word violated when describing the way Sutton treated her. Garcelle confronts Erika and says she hurt Jax’s feelings. Erika starts with the pretend amnesia, as if she didn’t say that in front of the cameras. Garcelle demands an apology to her son, and recommends Erika figure out her cocktail to meds ratio.

In the aftermath of Garcelle’s party Sutton and Kyle meet up for dinner to discuss their tussle the other night. Kyle says “I want to apologize, let me make that clear. I don’t think you made that up, I don’t think anyone would make that up. I don’t want you to think I ever thought that.” Kyle is referring to Sutton’s miscarriages. Sutton tells Kyle not to ever push her again. Kyle says that the push was a knee-jerk reaction. Kyle felt like it was convenient timing that Sutton would bring up her miscarriages while Diana was talking about her misfortune.

Sutton explains she was just trying to relate to her, and she didn’t even get to discuss with Diana what she wanted. Sutton interrupts, and an annoyed Kyle says “you’re really hard to have a conversation with.” As a Kyle stan, I can admit that she was being condescending as hell at this “apology” lunch with Sutton. When you say things such as: “You’re hard to apologize to.” “You don’t shut up.” “You’re such a delicate flower,” it comes across as condescending, and Sutton just takes it.

It’s time for Diana to tell her part of the story to Lisa Rinna, who couldn’t attend the party. Diana says that the party was good itself, but that Sutton caught her on the way out and did “the Sutton thing”, referring to her facial expressions and strange behavior. She describes the situation as a gambling game. “I put down one miscarriage, and she said I raise you two,” says Diana. Lisa is stunned and calls Sutton a Narcissist. Diana feels like when she’s around Sutton she gets dragged down to her level. After charting a private jet for the ladies in Mexico, Diana says next trip they can go commercial.

Date night gone wrong: The Umansky’s and the Kemsley’s sit down for a double date at Kyle’s house. It’s the first time PK is back at the house after meeting their home invasion. Kyle expresses that she was ready to move after her home was robbed, but eventually she was happy to stay. Dorit shares that she’s facing some challenges she can’t seem to shake, like driving a car for example. Any space where she has to be alone, is triggering for her. Dorit is still unsure if she wants to move or stay.

Kyle changes the mood by asking if anyone heard when Erika told Garcelle’s 14 year old son to go fuck off. “I mean it’s not funny but it is funny.” Mauricio says “I think it’s great that she did that.” Kyle says she likes seeing this more relaxed side of her. Dorit agrees and says that she can give her a pass because “ of course it’s not my child.” The twitter-sphere has unanimously agreed that it was disgusting and uncomfortable to watch the four of them pass off Erika’s inexcusable behavior towards a minor. Too often black boys are inappropriately treated as adults, and never given the chance to just be boys.

The dynamic duo we’ve been waiting for: Garcelle and friend of the show–Sheree Zampino. The ladies sit down for a pre game at Garcelle’s home before heading over to Suttons housewarming. Garcelle fills Sheree in on what transpired between Erika and her boys. Garcelle tells Sheree that she went back into the party and made it very clear to Erika that she can’t talk to her son like that ever again. She didn’t want to have a deep conversation with Erika in that condition. “I want her when she’s sober, and she can hear me. It’s happening today girl, I don’t know where you’re going to be but you better find me.” Sheree jokingly pretends to take off her earrings, getting ready for battle. You can tell this is the kind of friend you want in your corner when things pop off. Before heading off to Suttons the ladies toast to “setting a bitch straight.”

Sutton is almost finished with her house so she’s invited the ladies over for a luncheon. Lisa, Sheree, and Garcelle are the first to arrive and as the girls are getting cocktails, Garcelle sticks to something light because she wants to be “clear” before she confronts Erika. In her confessional Erika admits she’s worried about Garcelle. “I’m worried about this Haitian mom I’ve offended.” We get a flashback of two days earlier, where Crystal and Erika are recounting the other night. “It was like we were shit talking and I was treating the teenagers like they were adults. They’re 16, they’re not babies, let’s not,” says Erika. Crystal has to remind her they’re 14, and Erika suddenly has a change of attitude. “That puts it in a whole new perspective, thanks Crystal.”

Erika arrives at the party and as she approaches Garcelle the tension is so thick you can feel it through the tv screen. Erika goes to the bar and says “what is everyone drinking, I can only have one, I learned a lesson, I can only have one drink.” Garcelle responds with “Okay good, one is good.” As Erika is waiting for her drink, Garcelle gets her alone, but engages in small talk, she’s making her sweat. We can see Garcelle wants to do this in front of the group, like a top tier housewife would.

The party moves outside where the girls will have lunch, but in the words of Lisa Rinna, “we’re dealing with a swamp.” Sutton was not prepared for the weather, as the ground was muddy and a mess to move in. Sutton couldn’t put a rug under the table that morning? Lisa takes a dig at Sutton by saying that it’s very representative of her. “You got this beautiful table set gorgeously sitting in this mucky muddy muck, that’s Sutton Stracke for you.”

Diana’s presence isn’t necessarily missed at lunch, but it is noticed, which Garcelle called rude for not letting the hostess know. Sutton says she doesn’t like passive aggressive behavior and Lisa takes this time to make up for her absence in the last episode. “Well that’s the pot calling the kettle black isn’t it?”

Next week things are sure to boil over as Garcelle sets Erika straight.

Lisa Rinna Calls Sutton Stracke A Gold Digger

Lisa Rinna stepped into The Reality Rundown to let Sutton Stracke know what time it was, and from there it turned into a clap-back war between the co-stars. Grab your popcorn because this season just got better!

During the premier of season 12 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Sutton didn’t miss the chance to take a jab at co-star Erika Jayne. While both ladies are single and open to dating, Sutton made it clear to co-star Kyle Richards that unlike Erika, she doesn’t care if a man is rich. “So maybe my qualifications might be a little different than your friends.”

She didn’t stop there, to finish her Sutton said,  “I have my own money, so I look for character, humor. I guess maybe unlike Erika, I don’t need money,” she continued. “I don’t need that in order to make myself feel better. Maybe Erika misses her big house, all the jewelry and the lifestyle, so she has to look for someone that can provide that for her.”

In the spirit of defending her friend Erika, Lisa called Sutton a gold digger, resulting in an online feud between the reality stars and it all happened under our very own instagram account.

Rinna: “Oh yeah that’s right Sutton worked her ass off to have the money she has. I guess it takes a Golddigger to know one. She’s rich honey she’s RICHHHHH!!!!!!!! Cuz of her ex husband. And hey–more power to her–however you get your cash just own it baby..”

You know Sutton had to hit Lisa back with some southern charm.

Sutton: “Now Lisa. You know that I’ve known my ex since we were kids. Don’t be doin this.”

Rinna: “So if he stopped paying you monthly–then what? You’d be in the same spot as Erika. Don’t be startin something you can’t win.”

Rinna: “Ooof your so angry. I hit a nerve.”

Rinna: “Also I thought Sutton was just too busy in her life to see this tabloid sort of stuff happening? She sure saw this now didn’t she.”

Rinna: ”It’s hard when the husband makes all the money, it’s hard not to feel weird about it. I get it. That’s why I’ve always hustled and made my own Money.”

Rinna: “I hit a nerve.”

Sutton has been very vocal on the show about her ex-husband and his wealth. After their divorce she acquired much of it, including a baseball team or two.

Sutton and Erika have been feuding since last season, but things recently turned sour between Lisa and Sutton after she went on “Watch What Happens Live ” And accused Lisa and her husband, Harry Hamlin, of being ungrateful after she invited them as guests at an Elton John event.

We’re sure to see this feud make it to the season 12 reunion.

The Real Housewives of Potomac’s Candiace Dillard-Bassett Reacts To Firing Rumors, “I Don’t Want To Get Fired”

“The Real Housewives of Potomac” star Candiace Dillard-Bassett is Pushin’ P–podcast that is. She’s spilling all the tea on the latest episode of her podcast “So That’s What We’re Doing?” All I can say is my cup runneth over trying to catch all this tea henny.

The people v. Candiace

A new segment on the podcasts has Dillard-Bassett reading angry tweets from “fans” with a response from the clapback queen herself.

Angry tweet: “I pray Candiace is fired. I want to continue watching RHOP but won’t if she is on.”

Dillard-Bassett: “This is why I cannot take you seriously “ashy person”, because you can’t read me when you can’t read nor write your damn self.”

Angry tweet·#2: “I feel like Candiace Dillard says the nastiest things to her castmates and then hides her tail when they bark back.”

Dillard-Bassett: “Now see this is gas lighting okay you are gaslighting me because this is literally what they do to me. I don’t start anything with these girls. I’m always available for a ki(ki), for a vibe, for a libation, for a pork chop whatever. I’m never here for the mess. But my house is always on the block and my porch light stays on and I’m always at home. So if you come to my door “rat-to-tatton” on my door of course I’m going to answer and you’re going to get what you came for.”

Angry tweet#3: “Candiace Dillard got to be one of the most evil housewives to ever be on the franchise like right there next to Phaedra except she’s not remotely entertaining she’s just evil. and awful with the emotional development of a 13 year old person. Karma is a bitch honey. And she is coming for you.”

Dillard-Bassett: “What are you even saying because Phaedra is not evil? I guess because she allegedly made up a rumor so maybe they’re saying that was evil? But like I have my thoughts on that that I can’t comment on because I don’t want to get fired.

Dillard-Bassett is referring to the infamous moment Phaedra Parks was caught lying on Kandi Buress during season 9 of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta”, but it seems that Dillard is alluding to some foul play behind the scenes, perhaps by production? Could this lift some dirt off Parks’ name?

Atlanta to Salt Lake City

The “So That’s What We’re Doing?” hosts touch on Jennie Nguyen’s controversial, racist posts that led to her termination. Dillard-Bassett says “She could have just said you know I recognize that my stance on certain things and my beliefs is offensive to people and I regret that I have been offensive to people.” She continues, “I’m going to go away and try to do the unlearning of these things that are controversial and discrimintory, but even that would require her to belive that what she’s saying is discriminatory, and she doesn’t.”

Is she the most hated by Andy?

Co-host Leah Henry addresses the rumors going around regarding Dillard-Bassett; Henry says “speaking of lies or rumors there is actually a rumor going around about you so I wanted you to address it.”

During a special edition of Watch What Happens Live Andy Cohen confessed his disdain for “one or two” housewives, however he puts aside his personal feelings because they make for great television. Fans quickly assumed: Dillard-Bassett and RHOA star Kenya Moore.

Dillard-Bassett told the Twittersphere to leave her out of this. She did “@“ Cohen, and said “Do you see what you started?” On her podcast she says, “if you had just sat there Andy and ate your food and just said I love all the housewives, I just think that they are the most amazing contributors to pop culture and they have changed the game.” Her co-host Henry interrupts and says “I’ll be honest this sounds very guilty like it’s you.” Dillard-Bassett fires back with “Well it might be me hell, it very well might be my black ass, and if that’s the case okay thank you, thank you for putting me on the map.”

Fans have found Cohen to be “nasty” with Dillard-Bassett and to that she responds, “Really I don’t feel that?” She says Andy is a “shady boot. That’s his job.”

Dillard-Bassett claims to have a good relationship with her boss. She even texted him “mazel tov” when he received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

An excerpt from the housewives exposé “Not All Diamonds and Rose” by Dave Quinn might have given fans the impression that there was a rift between Cohen and Dillard-Bassett. The excerpt references the brawl between former RHOP cast member Monique Samuels and Dillard-Bassett.

Henry says “It was said, in the book, that you went off about the way that you felt he didn’t respond the way you wanted to.”

Apparently Dillard-Bassett spoke to Cohen and wanted to know if he was going to do something regarding Samuels, but he was not as responsive as she would have liked. To this Dillard-Bassett responded “Yeah well, you know I can’t divulge our conversations.” Whether Cohen likes Dillard-Bassett: “I don’t care, my check is signed.”

Her co-host then says “And either way even if he is talking about you he said you ain’t going nowhere so praise the lord.”

Interesting enough, on Mar 3, 2022, well after the release of this podcast episode, Dillard-Bassett tweeted “Well. When one door closes, another will open.” Does that mean shady boot (Cohen) gave the RHOP star the actual boot? Filming for “The Real Housewives of Potomac” begins soon so stay tuned.

The Latest On Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s Jen Shah’s Legal Case

Jen Shah was arrested back in March 2021. She has since been charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering, she could face a maximum of 50 years, if convicted for both charges.

Here’s what we know as of recently with information pertaining to the case. Shah had requested to be excused from her court appearance that was to take place on March 1, 2022. The reason it was requested was due to Jen living in the state of Utah and proceedings are taking place in New York. The request was granted.

On March 2, 2022, it was reported that Jen’s trial is now being postponed to July 11, 2022, for now. Court documents cite that there are various pending motions and subpoenas. One of the motions that Jen wants is the exclusion of any clips from her reality show RHOSLC. She has requested to keep that footage from Bravo out of her court case because the show is “heavily edited to show a certain lifestyle” and she doesn’t want any of that affecting her real life. Jen’s lawyers also filed a Motion to Dismiss against the Jen Shah documentary that aired of Hulu due to it possibly “poisoning the jury pool.” Is Jen being truthful or is this just to help her case?

Will these motions help the reality star stay from behind bars? Only time will tell but what we do know is that Jen’s assistant who originally pleaded not guilty with her, has changed his plea to guilty in the telemarketing scheme. He admitted to committing perjury and hiding funds back in 2021. However, Shah has maintained her innocence and even stated on an Instagram Live “I think what people don’t understand is, here in America, you’re innocent until proven guilty and I’m innocent.”

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 2 Reunion Part 1: Mary Cosby’s Absence Is Very Much Present

A disclaimer before any show makes for a great episode, or three in this case, as we’ve got a three part reunion for The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.

“The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reunion was taped prior to Jennie Nguyen’s social posts becoming public and her subsequent departure for the series; those posts are not addressed in the show.”

The icy ladies of Salt Lake City arrive to set and Andy begins his rounds as the ladies get glammed. Heather tells Andy “our friendship group is in crisis.” Whitney says “it’s like game day, I have to watch the other team play,” as she is watching a playback of Lisa on her phone. Rumors had been circulating that over in Beverly Hills Erika Jayne had questions fed to her beforehand; to make sure Jen didn’t get “the short end of the stick” Andy goes to her trailer to confirm that no questions were given to Erika in advance at the Beverly Hills reunion. We know that Meredith had only seen Lisa’s rant about her the night before and to this Meredith tells Andy “it’s rather revolting.”

The cast caught a lot of flack for their reunion outfits this year, but the one that stood out the most was Jen Shah, with an over the top purple gown and feather collar. Andy points out that Jen’s outfit is quite show stopping; some might have expected her to show up in some kind of white, representing her innocence. There’s an eerie similarity between Jen’s gown and Yzma’s  from the animated film The Emperor’s New Groove. These two might have more in common than just their wardrobe. Even bigger than Jen’s wardrobe was Mary Cosby’s absence. Andy says she was upset about the comments made about her church, and “stunned” by Whitney calling her a predator.

Someone who surprisingly came for Mary’s defense was Heather; who said that after watching her confessionals Mary said “insightful” things throughout the season. Heather doubles down by saying that Mary was “right on the money” about Lisa; she is referring specifically to when Mary says that Lisa doesn’t know how to be real. Whitney follows Heather’s point by admitting that Mary did have a way of having “wisdom and insight.” To refute this Jennie goes on to say that Mary called Whitney a whore in her confessionals. Meredith says “the show is not healthy for Mary,” but could it be the other way around? Is it healthy to have someone like Mary on the show? Keep reading to form your own conclusion.

First in the hot seat is Jen as Andy reads the criminal charges against her. She is facing conspiracy to commit wire fraud with a maximum of 30 years in prison, and conspiracy to commit money laundering with an additional 20 years. Jen shares that her family had a talk about possibly quitting the show, but she felt she needed to tell her story. If Jen is found guilty then there is a scent of narcissism she possesses; to go on a reality show knowing the microscope she’d be put under is alarming. Her trial is set for March 22, 2022 in New York.

This season Jen went on an apology tour. She feels she’s apologized more than anyone else on the cast. She believes that there are other things going on in the group, but she’s always singled out; she does not hesitate to look at Lisa. Lisa defends herself by saying she’s never called her friend terrible names. She is referring to Jen calling Heather shrek, and Whitney donkey. Heather is quick to remind Lisa she’s called her friends worse names. “You called friends on this couch that you’ve known for 10 years a piece of shit garbage whore,” says Heather “I rather be called shrek everyday than be called the horrible things you’ve said about your friends of 10 years.

Meredith has a breakdown as she opens about her personal family issues. She admits to everyone that she’s been dealing with things the camera didn’t see that go beyond her issues with Jen. She’s been grieving the loss of her father who passed away from Covid-19, all while fighting with her sister. “It wasn’t my story to tell, I couldn’t talk about it, I was in a state of immense pain,” says Meredith. Andy asks Meredith if ultimately Jen treated her better than her best friend Lisa. Meredith says yes. Lisa gasps and says “I have to be perfect all the time or I’m held to a different bar.”

Whitney and Heather, aka “bad weather”, think Lisa manipulates Jennie to fight some of her battles. Jenny was “taken back” by their minion comment during an after show. “I’m her friend and she will not control what I do,” said Jennie. ” Heather explains, “I think Jennie  is in a tough position because she is Lisa’s friend and Lisa has expectations of her friends that are very controlling and I was worried that you were going to be motivated to do what she was manipulating you to do.”

Of course this does not sit well with Lisa to which she says “I don’t want to nor do I control anyone through manipulation or any other tactics. I have no tactics, you guys use the word minions so if anyone stands up for me they are the bad guys and I don’t like that.” Whitney apologizes to jennie if she called her a minion. Meredith interjects to say “I do think there is some level of control that goes on.”

Things get awkward as they start to roll back the clips of Mary making racist remarks towards Jen Shah, saying when she thinks of her she sees a thug. “Those Mexican people that make all those drugs.” Mary also talked about Jennie saying “you do have a yellow tone, I like the slanted eyes, love it.” It didn’t stop there; she has also imitated Jennie’s accent. As an immigrant woman of color Jennie says it’s difficult living in Salt Lake City. According to her it’s a contrast to Long Beach, California where she says there’s a lot of diversity. All her life she’s been told she needs to “learn to communicate.”

In that same clip we see Meredith at lunch with Mary where she tells her “please no characters please” while giggling. Although it seemed as if Meredith brushed it off she says “I was horrified and uncomfortable.”

As they confronted Mary at Whitney’s party Meredith was asked about the slanted eyes comment but she stayed silent. At the reunion Meredith addressed Jennie. “When you’re dealing with a comment that is prejudicial you’re supposed to look at the party affected by it, to get a cue,” says Meredith. In what book did Meredith read that?

Things quickly turn to Heather as they discuss her comment about Jennie looking like an anime character. “It’s not because you are asian, which I realize and it’s terrible that it came out that way,” says Heather. “You were wearing a vinyl corset. You looked like a cartoon, drawn, physically-beautifully, ridiculously over designed like an anime character, like a cartoon.” Jennie interrupts to say “that’s the thing, I love a compliment, I just don’t like the labeling.” Heather agrees, “I know, I shouldn’t have said that, I’m sorry.”

One thing about tables–they always turn. Jennie’s use of African American Vernacular English (AAVE) leaves some confused. A viewer’s question suggests that Jennie uses stereotypical depictions of black women when she talks to or about Mary. Jennie says “I don’t see that I have a black accent, I grew up in Long Beach, California. It shaped who I am, that is where I get my accent, I have an accent, whatever comes out, comes out.”

In the last episode Jennie throws a glass at Mary; Andy says “Is that a little bit hypocritical to reprimand Mary for being violent with her words when you were violent with her actions?” Jennie’s response? “I didn’t throw it at Mary, I threw it on the floor. If I wanted it to hit Mary it would have hit Mary.”

Jennie has apologized to Mary in the past, she even did her make up afterwards so she’s confused why the tension continued. Heather says “there’s a part of me that thinks that Mary is racist because it didn’t stop there and it seemed to always come up.”

Andy reveals to the ladies that he spoke to Mary and she said she didn’t think black people were capable of being racist. “They are. Everyone is capable of being racists,” says Jennie. The camera spans to all cast members as suspenseful music plays. We love a shady camera man.

They finally address Angie (friend of) this season. A clip shows Angie telling Whitney that there has been a “hiccup” with the party she’s been planning. Angie reveals that according to the restaurant: “we’ve been asked to host events at the restaurant by Lisa’s assistant, we can’t do your event.” Whitney thinks Lisa was sabotaging Angie and her event.

By a show of hands Everyone except Jennie thinks that Lisa is the biggest pot stirrer of the group. Jen says there’s one on each couch. Whintey says “I think that Lisa does a brilliant job of stirring the pot and I always take the baton.”

A viewer asks Lisa to explain the timeline of the catering debacle. Lisa pulls out a binder of receipts. A watered down version of the infamous Monique Samuels binder from season 5 of Potomac reunion if I must say. They proved very little in Lisa’s defense.

Whitney thinks Lisa wanted to sabotage Angie because she and Angie connect. Whitney insists that Lisa didn’t want Angie to acknowledge Whitney as her cousin. Whitney goes on to say that Angie knows Lisa’s “deepest darkest secrets.”

Andy brings up Heather and Whitney celebrating Angie’s birthday in Cabo. Heather says to Lisa “Everything was paid for. It’s the life you pretend to have that Angie actually has and we enjoyed the spoils of it.” Heather continues, “You know what I have dirt on you Lisa and I’ve held it all back but I won’t hold it back anymore.” It doesn’t end there. To finish her Heather says “I liked her more when I saw her true self show up than I’ve ever liked her, because I don’t want to be friends with a caricature of some teen magazine that she read in 8th grade that said how to be a cool mean girl.”

A viewer question addressed to Jen asks if she felt Lisa wanted to humiliate her when she mentioned Jen’s former dress designer on the show, or was she worried Whitney was being a bad friend by sending him a free skin care product. Jen calls Lisa two faced, and what seems to be an admission, Lisa says she didn’t mean to be. She recognizes that she messed up by mentioning he who shall not be named.

Lisa shares that in a moment not caught on camera she and Jen talked on the phone and she thought that would be the last time they spoke. Lisa says “I love Jen Shah, as controversial as that is.” In an aggravated tone Jen interrupts and says “You don’t have to add as controversial as that is to love jen shah, leave that shit out. Either love me or don’t love me but I’m tired of all the disclaimers when it comes to Jen Shah. It’s bullshit.”

Stay tuned as next week the reunion continues.

The Real Housewives of Miami Season 4 Finale Recap: Explosive Beginning, Sad Ending

It’s the finale of RHOM! This finale starts out with a bang as it continues from the heated conversation between Adriana and Larsa at Alexia’s bachelorette party. Adriana and Larsa continue to hurl insults at each other which led to Adriana accusing Larsa of wanting to be a “Kim Kardashian” look-a-like and Larsa accusing Adriana of being insecure and bi-polar. Larsa ends up leaving the party but if you ask me, I think Adriana hit a button in Larsa. Marysol gathers the remaining girls to enjoy the night’s festivities!

Just when we thought all the arguing was done, Larsa pops back up to join the girls for a farewell breakfast. Although Larsa greets everyone, she comes in with guns blazing and ready to pick up where she left off from the previous night. She immediately turns her attention to Julia to address those issues. Larsa states, “when have you ever tried to make plans with me?” “When have you ever tried to get to know me, get to know my family, I came to your house and got know your family?” Julia responds, “I felt like making friends with me in real life wasn’t good enough because I only have two-thousand Instagram followers versus two million”. Larsa says she feels like Julia is biased to Adriana and that’s the real issue at hand. Then Adriana and Larsa get into a pissing match yet again.

As the girls return to their regular lives, we learn that Alexia’s mother continues to be hospitalized which places stress on the family as their wedding day is vastly approaching. Unfortunately, the uncertainty of her mother’s health as she battles COVID-19 looms over what should be a time of celebration.

Larsa and Scottie officially sign their divorce papers. She begins the transition into this new chapter of her life as a single woman. The tone of the episodes takes an even more sad turn as Nicole discusses with Marysol that Alexia’s mother has been released from the hospital with hospice care. Nicole presents the idea of doing a solidarity ceremony with all the girls on behalf of Alexia.

The latter part of this episode shows Guerdy discussing with her husband everything that needed to be cancelled for Alexia’s wedding which originally was taking place this very day. During that conversation, Guerdy shockingly says to her husband “oh my God Russell, she died. Today was supposed to be the wedding.” “Poor Alexia, she just can’t catch a break.”

The solidarity ceremony begins as the ladies start to arrive to Nicole’s home. All of the ladies work to put their differences aside after being reminded that there are more important things to life than petty drama. As the ladies arrive, Lisa enters the scene in a bright green dress while most of the other ladies are wearing black. Lisa states, “I should’ve worn black.” Although no one is saying it, everyone is thinking she should have worn black. The ladies retreat to the pool area where they each say a sweet sentiment for Alexia and her mother while each placing lit lanterns to float off in the water.

Disclaimer: Larsa wasn’t in attendance because she was in Los Angeles. Nicole was not in attendance due to work.

The ladies show up in support of Alexia’s family as they bury her mother. It reminds us that the ladies of Miami know how to be there for each other when it is needed. Fast forward four months later, Alexia and Todd announce they are going to get married in St. Barts!

The end of RHOM reflects on what’s to come for some of the ladies. Alexia does elope with Todd in St. Barts. Unfortunately, her marital bliss was short-lived when her son Peter was charged with battery after an alleged physical altercation with his girlfriend. Guerdy: made her way onto Vogue’s list of best wedding planners. Nicole’s $40 million offer fell through on their home, but Anthony proposed with a 10-carat diamond ring. Lisa is enjoying motherhood with her two beautiful children and Larsa is single and ready to mingle now that she has sold her home and bought a penthouse in Miami while Julia and Martina move into their new Miami Beach home!

Rest in Heaven, Nancy Hernandez
